???????????????????????????????????????????. Now forced to win in Seattle with no center and now a maybe above average defense and a world championship coach and qb who have turned it on. Very happy to win 11 games for sure. So close only to be decimated by injury again. Not going to win another game this year with that French vanilla O and or the qb not showing up.

I am pretty sure this game can be a factor in home field advantage.

All this means is that now next two weeks are must wins for 1 seed. We win week 17, we win the division. The Atlanta loss is offset by Seattle's loss to rams. If we went into week 17 up one game or even with seattle, doesn't make a difference. We lose, were the 5 seed.

How much does home field matter to the 49ers? We've lost 2 of or 3 games at home, and last week was our worst performance of the year.

Anyway.....at least we're in the playoffs and are going to have a shot. We could even lose out, and still have a decent shot in the playoffs as players get healthy.

I still feel that this team, when healthy, is the best in the league.

Week 17 was always going to be a must-win, regardless if we would have won yesterday. The problem is, next week is also must-win. An upset win by AZ would be nice though!

They might as well rest everyone against the Rams and Seattle because they aren't going to beat Seattle so the Rams game is meaningless. Plus the Rams D line is going to clown our O line all day which could result in Jimmy G getting hurt.

This loss makes the last two games pointless because they can't beat Seattle. Rest the players, take the two Ls, back into the playoffs and hope for a miracle series of road wins.

Highest seed plays lowest seed.

5 plays 4

We would play the winner of the NFC East.
