what? dude we need some juice across the way from Bosa. AA isn't a true edge rusher. We're basically taking him away from what he's very good at (3-tech in nickel) and the edge isn't that much better.

This would have been a home run get at this stage in the game.

He would have helped. But he's a chief now. So we must move on and hope Lynch can work another miracle.

At least SF knows they need help there....once Moore was hurt they should have been making moves and trying guys out.

Donald vs Garland

Garland only gave up 1 pressure on Sunday. Person was hot trash (5 pressures)

Honestly guys and gals we are still on target just a year later now. Last year was the maybe make the playoffs year with this year being the start of the serious Super Bowl run window. We are doing better than I expected in this first full year with Jimmy. Just need a stud big bodied wr to compliment GK. Going to be a roll the dice senario with the injuries every year.

It was 'reported' by Jay Glazier that OBJ wants out of Cleveland and one of the spots he's very interested in is San Francisco. The problem is that Cleveland will likely want a first round pick from us (we don't have many draft picks next season) and his salary would be worth the equivalent of AA and Emmanuel Sanders.

So assuming we can make the trade work....would you rather resign Armstead and Sanders OR have Odell Beckham Jr in his prime teamed up with JimmyG for the next 5 years ?

I want no part of OBJ, specifically his contract.

This draft has some really good WRs in it. If we feel we still need help or we can't re-sign Sanders then I'd rather go the draft route again to keep the contracts cheap.

Yes I'd love OBJ in this offense because it would bring another level to it but I don't trust the guy and I certainly don't trust him at the money he's getting and the draft capital it would cost to get him.

While I don't think OBJ will be a niner (they don't have the draft capital).

OBJ's contract has zero guaranteed cash left. Dude is realistically on a bunch of one yr deals with no dead money (for the next 4 yrs).

I would imagine he'd like to restructure his deal to get more guaranteed cash and in turn it could low his cap hit as well.

Yes we need help. Last two weeks have painfully shown our defense is depleted. I don't have the answer for our defense problems. But I can only hope Lynch is doing everything in his power to address the problem.

Can we at least bring in Nick Perry and Michael Johnson for a workout?

Michael Johnson? he's a FA?

Yes he is, he's waiting for Lynch to give him a call.

Absolutely guys! I mean James Harrison and Jason Taylor were available. Elvis Dumervil is probably a FA still. A plethora of candadites were out there. Seriously when you make statements like that give a freaking name or two of the guys you wanted. Don't just b***h offer a solution.
Man, i just want it to be Saturday.

The week is always so lame after a loss.

I want redemption, i want a bounce back win. I want the #1 SEED!

LET'S GO NINERS! GET IT DONE!!

Landry was seen yelling from sidelines "come get me".
Gotta win this game so we can finish 13-3 (which was what I put for PYMWYM thread)!
we need to WIN this game to get a chance to be the #1 seed because we may NOT have a chance going to either Philly or Dallas if we lose the division... Morality will just go down down down .... ..

Tough decision. We are a team first organization and the players fit that mold. Even Sherman that others had concerns about is always team first. OBJ - I don't know if he cares other than getting his own numbers. I think a perfect place for him is a place like Detroit where Stafford throws for 5000 yards annually, but they still can't make the playoffs.
Curious if obj would be welcome in Philly. Give him a shot twice a year at giants
