SF 49ERS vs LA RAMS Pregame Thread - 2019 Season Week 16

I just hope the defense comes out with something other than rush 4 with zone defense. Goff does terrible under pressure, so I hope they dial up a blitz or two.

I agree. Atleast run some stunts with Bosa. If the pass rush isn't getting to the QB, you have to get creative.
Last game was frustrating and I have a bit of a beef with the lackadaisical attitude of fans at the game. Typically when I get loud in my section the fans around join in right away. Vs. the Falcons they were slow to do so and the volume was a bit half-hearted until the game 'got serious' in the 4th quarter. Niner fans, we have to get very loud on EVERY 3rd down. Every third down regardless of score and distance! Goff should not be able to communicate at the line. GET LOUD!!!
We're gonna blow these guys out. Thankfully we've returned to underdog status for at least one week within the NFC's endless turnstile of juggernaut nightmares.

To speak plain and clear, this is a f**king division game, and the Rams DO not match up well against us. The Rams failed to double-team Bosa while Dee Ford was already having a B-game last time. A poorly coached Dallas trap-game ran all over the Rams. WE get back to playoff football this week and play "pace-managed" ball control, but if it goes shoot-out, we'll bring our guns.

We will win our last two, and get the f**king 1st seed.

49ers 31
Rams 13

Wishing you all a wonderful Merry Christmas while I order some pizza from the roof of the Nakatomi Plaza!

Obviously. While the Rams haven't been officially eliminated, they need the to win out and have the Vikings lose out, so it's not exactly an easy road, especially considering this is the 2nd road game in row for them and it's a short week. Plus add on top that the Niners are going to be salty after last weekend.

I think it'll be another resounding victory like the one in LA earlier this year, setting up a winner-take-all scenario in SEA.

I realize 9ers want things to be easier but as a fan a game for all the marbles will definitely show what both teams are made of.

Yeah we will be running the ball all day.

49ers or Cowboys offensive line; pick one.

Whomever comes out of the NFC gauntlet will have earned it. Good lord.

But then Lamar, Mahomes, or the Patriots defense will be waiting.

f**k yes...

speed rusher who can eat up some snaps and help this team.

Honestly, at least try it, and use him like they do with Ford. How could he POSSIBLY be worse than a practice squad guy?

If he's healthy and in shape then why not? I'm sure he'll scared some OTs more than the mighty Valoaga.

What is he - about 31, 32?

If he can still play, who cares about his age?

I want young legs - not old timers just hanging on.

https://riggosrag.com/2019/03/22/redskins-re-signing-junior-galette-makes-sense/

So his last stint was with the Deadskins...he's got fresh legs since he hasn't been on the field for quite some time...would be rusty for sure. Dude got flags from the past tho

Washington Redskins
On July 31, 2015, Galette signed a one-year contract with the Washington Redskins.[11] On August 26, it was announced that he tore his Achilles tendon during practice and would miss the entire 2015 season.[12] He was officially placed on injured reserve on August 31.[13] On November 16, 2015, Galette was suspended for two weeks[14] for violating the league's personal conduct policy, coming from the domestic violence incident back in January.[15]

Galette re-signed with the Redskins on another one-year contract on March 15, 2016.[16] It was announced on July 25 that Galette tore his right Achilles tendon and missed the entire 2016 season.[17]

On February 1, 2017, Galette re-signed with the Redskins on another one-year contract.[18]

He visited / worked out for LA and Seattle but they passed on him (Aug 2018)

If Lynch didn't already call him, Niners will more than likely stick with what we got (barring no more injuries)

Hard to get hyped for the lowly Falcons. Fans will be loud vs Rams on primetime

That is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. That is a 11-3 team that has sucked for years that you are cheering for. If that doesn't motivate you then you need to check out! If you want to send a message to other teams in this league that "you don't want to come here" thats up to the fans and nobody else. I guarantee you Seattle will be as loud as a Who concert from the 70's when they play us.

Here is the new 49er fan mantra: BE PREPARED, BE ON TIME, PAY ATTENTION & MAKE NOISE!!!

You pay enough for the f'n tickets so d******d Jed can drive his Porsche, why not get your money's worth?

Candlestick crowd majority was beer drinking blue collar workers. Levis the majority is wine drinking white collar workers and millennials.
