I know Sherman is a team leader and we miss him when he isn't in there but I don't really think he's playing at a pro bowl level now. He made it on reputation more than anything. He's been beat several times this year since he;s slowed down a little and he gets penalized a lot. I always thought he should have been called for holding more often when he was with the Hawks. Anyway he's playing well but not at a pro bowl level.

The biggest jokes I've seen were cb Humphries on Baltimore, he is not that good. Judon on Baltimore he is also not Pro bowl worthy, Budda Baker? Is that a joke?
I knew Buckner would not make it this year but Armstead should've had a very good chance. Getting the player of the month, Warner should've been in.

lmfao
LOL Wow really?
basically the same record. difference is they have Lamar Jackson.
Maybe the NFC Is more stacked? either way, 4 compared to 12 is turrible.
dont sweat it, hopefully our players respectfully decline the invitation due to practice for upcoming game....

That's why many of these guys make the pro bowl though. Look for the All Pro list if you want credibility.

Can anyone explain why one of the best run stoppers in the NFL, and THE best on the niners didn't get voted in?

He is still the #2 ranked CB by PFF. He is in a tight group of three (Quinton Dunbar & Marcus Peters) at the top, then there is a bit of a drop back to Casey Heyward and Stephon Gilmore, then a bigger drop to the next in line. That shows he deserves the honor...and $1,000,000 incentive bonus.

The Pro Bowl vote is usually one year behind the actual performance. For example, Staley is in based on last year, not this year. He doesn't deserve it this year.
Armstead should be in this year but no one heard of him before this year, hence there was no momentum built. AA was playing at a very high level last year but even many 49er fans failed to recognize it because they were clouded by his lack of past performance, mostly due to injuries. Even this year, Bosa has received all the hype, most of it deserved, and AA has remained in the background. The Atlanta game is a good example of his steady performance as he was the best 49er defender on the field. He is the second-highest rated ED defender in the NFC. Hopefully, he is still here next season and playing at the same level.

PRO BOWL is a waste of time.. I hope no players get a career ending injury from this non sense game.

Raheem Mostert has taken off earning a larger role in the #49ers offense.
— ourSF49ers (@OSf49ers) December 18, 2019
Mostert leads the team with 662 rushing yards. In the last 4 games he has 314 rush yds & 5 total TDs.
Mostert continues to get it done in special teams as well, showcasing his importance to the team. pic.twitter.com/9gQOFRnlnz

Only 2 defenders from this defense made it?

It's just a popularity contest. Baltimore is a good team, but 12?!? LMFAO
The Bills, a 10-win playoff team only having 1 guy is why Sean McDermott should be Coach of the Year, but he has no chance.

Many made it there because of Lamar, name recognition, or being on a winning team. But how the hell did Judon make it for OLB or Humphrey for CB?
Judon is tied for 22nd in sacks in the NFL. 69 in PFF if anyone cares about that. Doesn't have any name recognition. Doesn't make sense. AFC is definitely weaker in pass rush at the moment. But I see a handful of guys that should be there instead.
