SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs LOS ANGELES RAMS - 2019 Game 15

1 win away from the #1 seed. The idea that you're going to win by 20 every week is just not today's NFL. All teams will have some rough patches. 1 win from getting a rest + home games though.
This was an important game. Rams were fighting for their lives and gave this everything they had. This team was banged up but showed they can finish dog fights. This was a playoff game and we finished.

The idea that anybody thought this team would be 12 and three is also ludicrous

Not if the outcome in each game is the same as tonight.

1. Shanny should be fired
2. Saleh should be fired
3. The D sucks
4. Jimmy g sucks

And yet here we are with 12 wins with a chance at homefield advantage. 😅

I admit I said defense sucks. Due to injuries. Which is a fair assessment. Truth hurts sometimes.

We won't have that elite pass rush we had in the 1st half of the season. We are going to have win with offense scoring and for the defense doing what they can.

12-3 says otherwise

You spelled 13-3 weird but I'll allow it

Da f**k??? Yeah, def didn't play their best game but it's a W and a chance to seal the top seed next week. Let's goooooo!!!

Yeah, it still feels like a loss because it shouldn't have been that close especially after the embarrassing loss to ATL last week. This squeaker does nothing in terms of confidence going into Seattle. Instead of the young 49ers going into C-link strong and with a ton of convincing momentum they'll be limping in hoping for a miracle against an experienced, savvy Seahak team who has had the 49ers number for years all with the weight of a division crown and first round bye on their shoulders. God help them.

Look, absolutely happy as hell to be 12-3 during an amazing season, but how confident are you in going TO Seattle and winning playing like we have the last 2 weeks, making games WAY harder to win than they should be?

If you're saying we shoukd just be happy with this seaon, then hell yes we agree. Im just saying, we cant make these same mistakes and expect to actually make a superbowl run.

Agreed

But also badly injured

Every teams OL is makeshift at this point in season

If our DL was healthy....it wouldn't have been this close

I think we need a third edge most of all.
Not gonna lie, the stress was too much, I checked myself out late in 3rd qtr. Did some house cleaning. Got back middle of the 4th.

Wife was happy I did the dishes. She didn't know I was all knotted up inside

Yep, I just worry about next week...if a desperate Rams team could almost take us out at home the Seahawks are going to be out for blood and they always play us tough. I think we can win, but we need to also come out healthy. Worst case scenario is to get battered and lose a close one and have to go on the road the following week.

Next week could be the difference between a shot at the Super Bowl and a quick ticket home in the playoffs. Why does it always have to be Seattle??
