SF 49ERS @ SEA SEAHAWKS PREGAME THREAD - 2019 Season Week 17

I know Moore is meant to be our single high safety behind jimmy ward but honestly guys can he be much worse than Harris has been in coverage? I'm hoping saleh makes this change because Seattle will have no problem targeting tight ends and slots against Harris all day

Healthy 49ers defense gave up 7 points less than 150 yards to the defending NFC champs when healthy. Getting ford and tart back for the playoffs is going to make a huge difference.

We should beat them pretty easily - no turnovers is the key.

Until we beat them up there, its still an albatross. We need to exorcise those demons and it appears as though all the intangibles are in our favor. Their run game should be ineffective and the loss of Duane Brown should mean that Bosa and Co. will reek havoc on Wilson.

Still hoping for a Sherman tip ball / INT to finish the game as poetic justice.

I still have my "tip" t-shirt . . .
was considering wearing it under my jersey on Sunday night but, guess that might be bad mojo at this point

True poetic justice will have it be off a horribly underthrown pass by Wilson, a la Kap's horribly Underthrown pass that day
Our D is missing the depth and starters that made them a force earlier in the year.

Despite everything Wilson is an elite QB with talented pass catchers playing at home. They will move the ball on this beat up and tired defense. We simply have to make more impact plays whether it's getting turnovers of them or just making key stops and keeping them out of the end zone.

The offense will have to do their part and make up for a god awful showing across the board in the last game but with the crowd noise there won't be any room for error. OL has to block well and ensure Seattle pass rush and Clowney have another huge game. No drops, no turnovers from our offense is key.

They're injured. We're injured. We're the better team...have to play like it and get this much needed win.

We have to play smart - not the comedy of errors we always seem to play up there. This is Jimmy's first start up there, so it's all fresh to him.

Hopefully he plays similar to like he did in his first Saints start but no Richburg is a concern with the communication and bad snaps...have to fix those.

Already got that, Greenlaw didn't run it back and we didn't win.

More importantly b******t refs.
The 4th QTR will decide the winner.

Russell Wilson has the highest 4th-quarter passer rating (109.6) since 1991 among quarterbacks with 500 or more attempts. In 2017, Wilson finished the season with a 134.1 4th-quarter passer rating. Russell Wilson is tied for the most 4th-quarter comebacks (21) and game-winning drives (27) since entering the league in 2012, including postseason.

Game will be over by halftime
We haven't won a game with more than a minute left in over a month.

Why are people so confident? Especially against a team that THRIVES in close games
