SF 49ERS @ SEA SEAHAWKS PREGAME THREAD - 2019 Season Week 17

My only worries about this game is the fact that the zebras are gonna do everything they can to keep this game close. Lots of b******t PI and defensive holding against us, and I suspect a lot of big plays negated on offense by b******t holding calls.

We still win doe

Come on Evil, all the cool people are over here though....

I was just letting you know there is one.

But LSU, Clemson and tOSU all have some incredibly intriguing prospects on both sides of the ball that could help us.

Not in the least. Jesus people it's an opinion. Bright side is I usually suck at picking games.

Won't be surprised if we lose. I think SEA didn't plan for ARI and they have been prepping for us for two weeks knowing it will come down to week 17.

Right near end of season, weeks 16, 17, the injuries have mounted up and usually in playoffs and SB, the healthiest team wins. Start looking around the league , and teams are just beaten up. Any of the better of the playoff teams...all have taken their lumps.

It has been this way for yrs, but is way so more than before. At this stage of the game, the team who has real talent PLUS depth...even if uncoached but stiill decent, (like our two OLs, eg),..that is the team that is most likely to win. Dallas had great talent for start of yr, but once the injuries mounted up it became obvious they just didn't have any depth. None. Look at the half dozen teams that lost their qB. SEA Lost all 3 RBa plus a slug of others. Some teams have only 1 or none WRs. Every team out there is missing starting OLs. Same for DLs. LBs? Same. DBs? Same. It is like a bad plague, and seems no one unless those who have good coachable depth are hurt the most.

It makes one wonder if drafting, FAinng, trading ...all arent going to need to bee done with having great depth in mind. You can bet if a team has 22 bona fide starters, they got no depth. One of two guys go down they are done. So let's see how the "new" fascination with injuries on every team near playofff time, affects how teams go about FAing, trading and drafting. It has to be a major consideration from here on out. It has been there all the time but this yr? Everybody understood what "depth" meant....esp those that didnt have it....Cowwbyos, for example.

The 4th QTR will decide the winner.

Man, I hope not - these nail biters are killing me.

Either in the last 5,6, or maybe even 7 games it seems like all were decided by the last play of the game, or IOW, the team that last had the ball last , won. And overall , except for the blowout game with Panthers, haven't most of our games been won or lost on last play of the games?? Almost all Ws or Ls have seemed to be that way. That is just crazy.

Whatever # it was, , it sure gave our guys one big load of gumption. To W or L most all of our games like that is just really, weird.

We've played a bunch of close ones, no doubt. That said, we've won several and trashed GB in week 12. (37-8)

Arizona manhandled Seattle with tackles you could hear through the tv. (Sad to say, much like what Seattle does to us) Seattle will up their game vs. us and if we match or even one up their intensity, we got a great shot.

I'm looking forward to intense Jimmy G as we saw in Nawleans. Watched the Saints replay....Dude was hyper focused that day. I'd also love to see our D lay some lumber.
