SEA is getting spanked by ARZ right now.

You actually need Seattle to win this.

How's that?

That way they won't be as hungry for W. Think about it, after a loss do good teams regroup or play flat? Sure Seattle is banged up but they will be the toughest opponent the 49ers face this season on the road.

Idk about that. Their offensive line got exposed today. Hopefully we can wake up on defense in time.

No, I would say the Saints was and will be tougher. By a long shot. Win or lose they are gonna be motivated. It's a must win either way.

The eagles games is what gives Seahawks tiebreaker I believe. So no chance the 9ers can play Seahawks round 1.

No, there's not because they only get the #3 seed if GB wins out which would mean the #5 seed would be the worst case scenario for us. It would be nice to have every possible edge heading into this game and that includes Seattle having as little as possible to play for.

When is the last time Seattle lost back to back home games?

Who cares. They losing next week. Book it.

Im not saying they wont lose back to back home games. Im just asking, when is tne last time they lost back to back home games?

They lost back to back games twice last year. No big deal, weeks 1 and 2, and weeks 9 and 10.

They have lost more than they're used to this year for sure. They have proven beatable at home

Sorry guy i forgot that packers win the division either way in this scenario because of that bears loss

NP

I want to beat the stuffing out of the birds and make all this moot.

It'll all be difficult . But even if the worst case scenario happens and we're the 6 seed. I'm confident we can beat any of these teams in their own homes. Already did it against the saints.

Not even close.

I actually think this makes them more dangerous. Much more dangerous. I would rather have had them beat the Cardinals as crazy as it sounds. When was the last time you saw Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll lose 2 games in a row at home when you need it at the end of the year? Has it ever happened? They will blow the roof off that place now. This is a super dangerous game now. They will be very angry next week. On another note yeah that Falcons game was terrible costly. So was the Mcglaughlin kick down the tunnel. Win of those 2 and the division, playoff bye, #1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs are already wrapped up. How great would it be to not even have to win that game. Now we got what we got and just have to go try and win it.

..........

What's home field advantage with this team anyway? Don't get me wrong I'd like to have it and the players feel like the Faithful help energize them. But we have three losses this year. Regardless of could have's and should have's and conditions with each, 2 of those 3 losses are at home. We don't have a super home field advantage a la New Orleans or Seattle or even Green Bay- although it was actually weird to see that Green Bay is 7-5 in home playoff games. Actually though along those same lines we're 3-2 in our last 5 home playoff games. I guess I can see not wanting to go to New Orleans and take the chance of winning there twice. I can see that end of it. But we're just going to have to hopefully get healthier and just play our best ball no matter what happens. Hopefully Dee Ford comes back reasonably sound and healthy and energizes the pass rush at least a bit. We pressured Goff plenty (40% of his drop backs) but still allowed 31 points and over 300 yards passing. Need to find a way to get home again on those rushes.

Realistically as banged up as we need to make this game in SEA the last road win we'll need this season. We need week 18 off from football so guys can get healthy for this post season run!
