SF 49ERS @ SEA SEAHAWKS PREGAME THREAD - 2019 Season Week 17

I'd take current day Ladd if the opportunity presented itself. Might have to deal with the dentures but that can be worked around.

Well, there is zero excuse now. If the 9ers still can't beat the Seahawks, then they don't deserve to get anywhere in the playoffs.

Getting pressure and CONTAINING Wilson. Its no good if he's flushed out and kills us with long throws downfield and long runs.

Couldn't happen to a douchier team .
The Vegas line shifted 3.5 points from the beginning of this afternoon to now.

I actually think this makes them more dangerous. Much more dangerous. I would rather have had them beat the Cardinals as crazy as it sounds. When was the last time you saw Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll lose 2 games in a row at home when you need it at the end of the year? Has it ever happened? They will blow the roof off that place now. This is a super dangerous game now. They will be very angry next week. On another note yeah that Falcons game was terrible costly. So was the Mcglaughlin kick down the tunnel. Win of those 2 and the division, playoff bye, #1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs are already wrapped up. How great would it be to not even have to win that game. Now we got what we got and just have to go try and win it.

..........

I actually believe that this team, and Jimmy play better on the road than they do at home. Whenever they travel they seem more focused, and the offense usually comes out razor sharp. That "us against the world" mentality is also a lot easier to use on the road than it is at home, and most especially in places like Seattle and New Orleans where its loud.

I don't think we're going to have the same success that AZ did running the ball when we play Seattle next week. They're going to do everything in their power to take it away and its gonna be on Shanahan to adjust his playcalling. If the OL isn't holding up in PP, he needs to call shorter developing routes and screens to back the defense off the line so Jimmy can have time to throw the intermediate and deep routes later in the game. Jimmy G will need to go huge like he did in NO for us to win, and I have no doubt he's up to the task if he's given time.

That Carson thing is funny. We played with our third (Mostert) and fourth (Wilson) string running back a lot during the year.

Considering we had no Sanders, Kittle, Kwon a banged up Staley and McG then lost Blair...I wont feel sympathy.

Wow , we need to take advantage of this and show no mercy

We play down to our opponents level, so I am not really going to get that excited tbh

Sorry to say I have no pity for them or any team regarding injuries after everything we have gone through this year.

There's never been a better time than now to reclaim our place as the #1 team in the west anf NFC.

All good news. Worst case scenario, we play a beat up Philly team. If we beat Seattle, we get the #1 and a bye-week. Niiiiiice.

this is the worst mentality to have IMO

How so? This is great news all around. Seattle just lost 3 more starters and lost at home and can't get the #1 anymore. If we blow it somehow, you're playing the other team that's badly beat up instead.

You still give it your best but the scenarios aren't crippling.

Also the refs let the PED hawks get away with Holding all the time, so they don't even need their starters on OL
