Wow , we need to take advantage of this and show no mercy

We play down to our opponents level, so I am not really going to get that excited tbh

This especially with the way we've been playing. We should kill this team but Seattle is in our head, I expect he refs to get in it and Wilson to pull off some magical bs.

It's going to take 30 plus points to win just like tonight.

Wilson and Carroll owning us is like Favre and Holmgren during the 90s.

It's gotta end at some point right??

Yep, score early, often and don't stop until the clock reads 00:00. I'm predicting the 49ers lose because of the way they've played the last few weeks and the fact Seattle has owned the Niners for years but, for the love of sweet fancy Moses, I hope I'm wrong and KS actually breaks the Cheat-link curse.

All good news. Worst case scenario, we play a beat up Philly team. If we beat Seattle, we get the #1 and a bye-week. Niiiiiice.

this is the worst mentality to have IMO

How so? This is great news all around. Seattle just lost 3 more starters and lost at home and can't get the #1 anymore. If we blow it somehow, you're playing the other team that's badly beat up instead.

You still give it your best but the scenarios aren't crippling.

I guess we're supposed to want the toughest road possible to the super bowl? I prefer the easiest path

Couldn't happen to a douchier team .

Considering we had no Sanders, Kittle, Kwon a banged up Staley and McG then lost Blair...I wont feel sympathy.

No sympathy whatsoever for the hawks or their fans. f**k em

Couldn't say it any better.
If we lose we can still end up with the 6 seed. But lets beat these chumps and take what is ours. HFA

The thing I hate most about playing the Seahawks is our guys are out to pound them and vice versa. We always have a few injuries after. We will need the bye.
Take care of business and watch out for potential cheap shot injuries.
Okay let me explain this the best way I can:

We should be hoping Green Bay and New Orleans win out.

This won't directly help us, but it will hurt Seattle in the sense that next week's game for them will only be for the #3 seed instead of falling to the #5 seed, which isn't a huge difference (either way they would have to play WC weekend). This, along with how Seattle has played at home compared to on the road this season, might make them come into next week's game a little less motivated, since being the #5 seed might be more advantageous for them.

Obviously they'll still play to win, but you would have to think just instinctively if next week is only for a #3 seed instead of #5, that they wouldn't be as motivated to win.

The Seahawks are favorited by 3.5? What was the original line

You get 3 for playing at home. so really its pretty much a pick'em at this point.

Safe to say we've had the toughest road in history already. Enough is enough!
Just need to play disciplined and tackle on D. Be careful with the ball on O and we should win.
Seattle could still mathematically get the #1 seed right? If they win, New Orleans loses and Green Bay goes 1-1 doesn't Seattle win that three way tiebreaker?

Good point. So if GB and NO are 13-3 then they both have the tiebreaker over a 13-3 Seattle team? I know NO beat them but are you sure GB would have the tiebreaker over Seattle?
As long as Russ plays, and Carroll is coaching, they're a threat, PERIOD!!!!
