Our franchise has basically been on pause since that moment Sherm tipped Kap's s**tty underthrown pass to Crabtree. Its poetic that now have to go there and win in order to have a bye and HFA

Such a violent sport, yet, so poetic
A flex is almost a guarantee, right? I can't see them flexing Ravens/Steelers or Titans/Texans
Hate to be that guy, but I feel like we need both Tartt and Ford back to have a chance.

Yeah, a 49ers/Seahawks match for the Division and #1 seed in the NFC - would be a ratings buster for NBC.
And then there was one...

This is going to be a very, very tough game. Seattle rarely if ever loses when they need it at home. Especially at the end of the season. Certainly with Russell Wilson in the big games down the stretch. But somehow, some way, we just have to win. We have to. This is such a magical year after being down for so long. It would be so awesome to get the #1 seed, a 1st round playoff bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. That's a far cry from the 5th seed and being a road team for the entire playoffs. It's not even in the same category. We have to win. Dee Ford has to play too. Time to play now. This is the playoffs. 1 week early.

Yep.

Shanny needs to establish the run early using all there of his Backs. There is no point sitting guys to make a point. If he would get creative with running, screens, and play action it would help slow down the pass rush. More two tight end sets like early in the season while he was protecting his young tackles.

100% this. His allure to the high octane offense robs the offense of what allows it to be so dynamic. Mostert is right there with Garoppolo and Kittle in terms of how pivotal he is to success. DON'T GO AWAY FROM A STRENGTH AND THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR GAME WHEN SCORE DOESN'T DICTATE TO.

Wilson and James have also clearly made a case to see more opportunities. Let that happen.

It's also f**king terrifying given the state of this defense

Run the football. That is all.
If we can't get healthy quick this will just be a terribly disappointing season.
our OL and front seven play is average right now
did you see Jimmy on that 3rd quarter drive vs Rams, seeing ghost ? First time this year he reacted like that. That is not a good sign.
our coaching lacks aggressiveness
And our effort won't be enough against the seahawks and past the WC round...

I still get pissed at Crabtree when I see that play. Hes just waiting for the ball to fall into his hands. Go up and get it! Sherman was right, he was a sorry ass WR.

I tend to agree with this - we are not at 100% right now and it's been showing in games since our guys have gotten hurt. We miss Ford and the rest of our DL that are out. Richburg is also a huge hit on our OL and we have to keep searching for a better solution there. We are hurt, but so is the rest of the league. We just have to hope our D can come through for the SEA game and into the playoffs. I think our O is as healthy as it can get right now, so I'm not as worried there. Just got to hope the Football gods shine down on us and get us a Championship.

Theirs absolutely no way we're winning in Seattle. Don't get me wrong I'm pumped up about today and I'm not being negative on our team. I think we're the best team in the nfl. But their is absolutely no way the refs will allow us to win next week. The screwjob is already being planned against us next week.

Calm down, hooman - not everything is a conspiracy.
