SF 49ERS @ SEA SEAHAWKS PREGAME THREAD - 2019 Season Week 17

Seattle should call up a PS guy instead of Lynch. Arby is a plug and play type position. Look at Jeff Wilson Jr.

Lynch is 33.5 years old and hasn't played in over a year.

If our defense lets him be the difference then that's on them.

Without Blair and Jones it's a little scary

I mean I'd rather play lynch then Carson...lynch is a pulled groin alway from have zero impact.

Dude has no football under his belt in almost 2 yrs. you can't go from zero to 100 in less then a week imo. I'd be shocked if lynch doesn't get a soft tissue injury (he was already prone to them).

I'm not sure if I have this right, but it looks like if the Vikings beat both the Packers and the Bears, and then the Packers beat the lions, then the Seahawks will drop to the 6th seed with a loss next week. So their first playoff game would be against the Packers instead of the Eagles

Give we beat the Seahawks--and we should--I am 90% certain this is correct without checking tie-breaking procedures.

They are always an extremely tough out especially in their house, I would not be thinking this is easy

Jimmy G just needs 300 yards + some change and 3 TDs to pass for 4000 yards and 30 TDs. Most by a QB since Jeff Garcia. Of course I want my 9ers to win but is that too much to ask for?
can Lynch really get signed and play on Sunday?

Gronk retired and there was all this smoke about him coming back for a playoff run, but he needed to ink it by November and that has long passed. Same smoke coming here but he's eligible?

Lol doesn't matter

We need to prepare as if we are facing a fully healthy Seattle team in a NFCCG setting.

Wait, he says he is playing, but also said he may not....

Pretty much lol. He has a sports hernia, that doesn't get better with rest. He needs surgery. It can get worse as well.

Like our situation with Ford when he tried to come back to play against the Ravens...?

Yup I hope Shanahan makes him pay, especially for what he did to the 9ers last game!!!

No doubt just a funny statement

Gronk was still under contract I believe, where as lynch is a FA

Holy smokes I didn't know that was his injury, why the hell do I keep thinking knee sprain.

I'm not sure of the extent of Ford's hammy but clowney isn't gonna get better with rest. He can actually make it worse from what I'm reading.

If I was him and in a major contract yr, I'm getting that surgery (or telling Seattle to extend me if you want me out there).

Dee Ford agrees.
