SF 49ERS @ SEA SEAHAWKS PREGAME THREAD - 2019 Season Week 17

Just for confirmation, but seahawks game today doesn't mean anything for us, right? I mean, we basically need to win next week to get the bye. If we lose we don't get it, even if seattle loses today as well

Not anymore. Would have meant a lot if we beat the Falcons.
Nobody came close to blowing us out all season long. We were in all the losses to the final play. Just get some defenders back and tighten up the D and let's go on a Super Bowl run.

Well said.
nothing different than what we knew before the season started. we need to beat Seattle to win our division. we have a better offense than the one we played them with last time. Staley and McGlinch comin off of long term injuries a little too early, WRs dropping everything, no Kittle, no Breida, no Sanders for most of the game and they dont have Josh Gordon in the back of our DCs head on every play worrying about getting burned. pretty sure Juice was hurt too. way different teams meet up next week, hopefully Arizona beats them up a little bit but i doubt it. bottom line it is the game that we knew we had to win all year long and honestly if we cant win in Seattle we wont make it to the superbowl.

that falcon game screwjob and the screw job against the seahawks set us up for failure next week. Honestly we should just let Seattle win and rest our starters to get ready for cowboys/eagles. Theirs absolutely no way we're winning in Seattle. Don't get me wrong I'm pumped up about today and I'm not being negative on our team. I think we're the best team in the nfl. But their is absolutely no way the refs will allow us to win next week. The screwjob is already being planned against us next week.

nah f**k that. this season has no hope. NFC representative has absolutely no chance against the Ravens or Chiefs and most likely the Pats. I say rest all of our starters in the wildcard as well and gear up rest up for a real run in 2020.

yeah lets give our biggest rival home field advantage without a fight to show them how much we fear them and catch them off guard next year

NFC is a ton better than the AFC. Sure, the best team ATM is in the AFC, but the next four or five best teams are NFC hopefuls. I would take the Niners, Seahawks, Saints, Packers and maybe even the Vikings over the Chiefs right now.

I will say this though, the Chiefs seems to be getting hot at the right time. They're defense has gotten a ton better as the season progressed. I think they're the only real threat to the Ravens, possibly the Pats if the defense can keep them to 20 points or less.
Kyle needs to get a little bit more creative and sound on his play calls.

Nah, f**k all that. If we're to go out, let's go out inflicting as much pain on everyone we face as possible.

No Sunday night flex or game next week, and no Monday night game either. It's week 17
