The move to bring Lynch in, stinks of desperation.

Just imagining prime Aldon on this defense for a second.... sigh

I literally cant stand it when we play so much shotgun on offense. Makes even less sense with a backup center that was having trouble snapping the ball. Shanahan is a smart guy maybe there is a method to it

I second this. We have used shotgun so much it verges on a channel of identity. Granted an effective offense morphs based on opponent, injuries, down/distance but really? I'm glad someone else noticed.

Carson 25 carries for 89 rush yards (not a great game but just enough to keep us honest; I don't see Lynch or any back off the streets dropping 90 yards on us)
Seattle D - 5 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries (one for a TD) and one INT

Niners 3 headed rushing attack (25 combined carries for 86 rush yards)
Niners D - 5 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries (1 for a td) and one INT

Wilson 24/34 - 232 yards, 1 td and 1 int
Jimmy 24/46 - 248 yards, 1 td and 1 int

Very close game..every so slightly Seattle outplayed us thus they won the game. Niners won the turnover battle actually. So what was the difference based on the above that can be fixed? #1 After seeing what Drake did we better run the ball alot better this time #2 Jimmy had 22 incompletions (some were drops; by both teams lol) but that was a very inefficient night. We also missed a field goal and their kicker didn't miss on his attempts. Not totally accounted for is that Clowney dominated everyone in his path that night.

I don't see ALL of those things going wrong again for the Niners but I also don't think we are sacking Wilson 5x this time. All in all we have to fix the run game and/or Jimmy has to be better but BOTH cant be as bad as the first game. On the road this will be another close battle but aint it time the 49ers exercise their Seattle demons?????

The number that jumps out to me is, 25 carries for 86 yards. We must've been missing Kittle, McGlinchey... and I guess we lost Sanders so they loaded up the box even more. We can and should do way better than that with our rushing attack this time and that'll go a long way to a win

I can't. My heart still hurts.
Hope lynch gets signed. The best chance against this defense is a quick RB. A slow power rb like a 2019 lynch ain't gonna do it

Ummm ... maybe because losing top 3 RBs with 2 out in last game going into week 17 is desperate circumstances??

If he can help set up play action for Wilson and block, it's already a good signing for them lol

Lol they're desperate

I mean, yeah, truthfully they are.

Hahaha what a joke. Dude isn't in football shape and you damn well know he's been high as s**t now that he's retired. I'd be shocked if he passes a drug test

he's just here so he won't get fined
Dude was just taking shots and getting high last week at the Raider tailgate

I know this was talked about in the Rams thread but it was strange how we seemed to call a bunch of long developing pass plays and either guys weren't getting open or the protection wasn't holding up long enough .... and then I think about Dante shaking dudes outta their shoes last season.... sigh.

It's a good signing if he can do that and do damage with his legs.
