The Seahawks always scare me at home. I don't care who they're missing. We're missing a lot of people too. The last several weeks, people continue to say "oh we're gonna CRUSH so and so" -- we got handled by a losing team and barely beat the Rams at home. I wish I was that confident, but this is another high pressure game that worries the crap out of me.

Seahawks will do everything in their power to avoid back to back home losses. We've got to come out with a great game plan and execute it brilliantly.

We need to get back to our bread and butter on offense. Run the ball and play action. Misdirection and keep em guessing. Against LA we came out the first 2 or 3 drives and started out in the shotgun on 1st down. As soon as we get under center and play our offense 5 plays and 75 yards later we score. We need to do that from the opening.

I really hope KS was hiding stuff to unleash for this game. If we come out with the mindset that we're gonna score each time we have the ball I dont think they'll be able too keep up. If we can out shoot the Saints we can beat the a banged up Hawks team, but only if we come out with some damn urgency.

All of this.

I literally cant stand it when we play so much shotgun on offense. Makes even less sense with a backup center that was having trouble snapping the ball. Shanahan is a smart guy maybe there is a method to it

Yeah I was not happy about all the shotgun calls either. It's like Shanny thinks we're the Patriots in year 10 of the dynasty and he can just hand the game to Jimmy G and the WR's. We're not there yet. Get under center, run the ball, set up play action, and keep the defense honest. As soon as we get in shotgun the opposing DL just pins their ears back and wreaks havoc on our banged up OL.

Some #s from the 1st game

Carson 25 carries for 89 rush yards (not a great game but just enough to keep us honest; I don't see Lynch or any back off the streets dropping 90 yards on us)
Seattle D - 5 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries (one for a TD) and one INT

Niners 3 headed rushing attack (25 combined carries for 86 rush yards)
Niners D - 5 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries (1 for a td) and one INT

Wilson 24/34 - 232 yards, 1 td and 1 int
Jimmy 24/46 - 248 yards, 1 td and 1 int

Very close game..every so slightly Seattle outplayed us thus they won the game. Niners won the turnover battle actually. So what was the difference based on the above that can be fixed? #1 After seeing what Drake did we better run the ball alot better this time #2 Jimmy had 22 incompletions (some were drops; by both teams lol) but that was a very inefficient night. We also missed a field goal and their kicker didn't miss on his attempts. Not totally accounted for is that Clowney dominated everyone in his path that night.

I don't see ALL of those things going wrong again for the Niners but I also don't think we are sacking Wilson 5x this time. All in all we have to fix the run game and/or Jimmy has to be better but BOTH cant be as bad as the first game. On the road this will be another close battle but aint it time the 49ers exercise their Seattle demons?????

The number that jumps out to me is, 25 carries for 86 yards. We must've been missing Kittle, McGlinchey... and I guess we lost Sanders so they loaded up the box even more. We can and should do way better than that with our rushing attack this time and that'll go a long way to a win

Our offense is definitely stronger this time around. Secondaries should be a bit stronger then last week but still not quite as strong as last time.

The keys for us is whether our O Line can step up from last week. They gave away six sacks. Last time we played the Tooters we gave away 5 sacks. Pass protection stepping up will be a big thing to help us win. Otherwise Jimmy better be really aware and slippery in the pocket.

The other key is keeping Wilson pinned in his pocket. With D Ford out this will be hard as Bosa will be double teamed. This is our biggest weakness. I hope Saleh learned something from the Cards yesterday as they managed Wilson well.

I am confident we can win this as our offense is better this time. It wont be an easy thing though.
Lynch will be looking like Tracy Morgan out there.

As long as Russ plays, and Carroll is coaching, they're a threat, PERIOD!!!!

Exactly, not hanging my hat on any of their injuries...sure, they're banged up but RW and PC are A LOT more experienced and savvy than JG and KS at this in their careers so I'm STILL predicting a loss until or unless KS proves me wrong and defeats the Cheatlink curse.

LMFAO.

They're down the equivalent of Staley, Breida, Coleman AND Mostert!

If Clowney is out, that's like us being without Bosa or Buckner. Or BOTH!

Plus Diggs was playing better than either of our safeties.

If we don't roll them i'll be shocked. They were not deep to begin with people!

We are MOTIVATED. It is there for the TAKING. Enough of this doubt!!!

Niners are gonna f'ing crush the Douchehawks, book it!

Don't forget their down one of there big rotational run stoppers in Al Woods who got suspended or PED use

Also without Josh Gordon who had a big 3rd or 4th down catch against us last game.
HONESTLY, I would not be surprise if the SheHawks offensive game plan is full time OFF COUNTER FAKES AND ROLL just like the Rams' last week... so I suggest we keep the same D plan that we used in the 2nd half.
Prefer they roll with lynch then someone off a practice squad or someone who has been i game shape all season
Poona Ford and 1/2 a Clowney is enough to wreck our OL. But hopefully not enough to force Mostert, Juice and Kittle to stay in to help pass protection.
Forecast looks cold and rainy. Any thoughts on how that will affect the game and who it benefits more?

Man, these guys are desperate - signing a guy off the couch and who hasn't played in over a year.

He is going to have to steal Wilson's pee if he wants to be able to play this year.

The Seahawks are signing Beast Mode and bringing him back for week 17. I thought this was a joke. But it looks like they are really doing this.....
