Nobody knows what kind of shape he chooses to actually keep himself in but a lot of assumptions being made. I would hope our team isn't taking him returning or Travis Homer lightly.

Yes, he is. Travis Homer is their only other RB with any experience at all. He is more of a speed guy. Lynch, even if he no longer has any speed, can bang between the tackles and get some tough yards that Homer could not.

He hasn't played in 2 years so I doubt that he's in football shape. They could throw him in for a few short yardage plays but I don't see him being able to do much else. Face it, if he really wanted to play and he had anything left he would have been playing already. This is just some extra spending money for him.
