SF 49ERS @ SEA SEAHAWKS PREGAME THREAD - 2019 Season Week 17

Duane Brown May not play either so not sure why the Lynch signing means he's going to play RB. Rumor has it that Lynch is in LT shape.
Why does Seattle care about this game really? They would go from at best 3rd or 4th seed with a win to 5th seed with a loss. A home game against the Vikings vs. a road have against the eagles in the first round. They suck at home this year anyway.

This game is much more important to the 49ers. At eagles worst case scenario to a bye week and home field advantage.

idk about you guys but he appears to be in good enough shape

Hoola hoops don't tackle.
I had to double check but lynch hasn't ever played a game against Buckner, AA, Warner or Boss. He's in for a rude introduction to the next generation of NFL defenses.

That said, he's a former all pro and a goddamn baller. It's amazing that Seattle could luck into having someone like him waiting in the wings.

Sure but they have owned us over the years at Seattle. Until we prove otherwise there is no reason to see it any different. We have to prove it first. I'm sure it will be a fight. Probably harder than we think. I hope we can win it.

I love the Niners but does anyone else just always feel like they'll lose to Seattle?

I'm trying to get amped for this game but also temper it with the undying feeling that they'll lose because they always do.

I just see wilson running circles in the backfield throwing bombs, and now lynch somehow inexplicably playing decent despite the fact that if any other team pulled an old running back off the couch six days before gameday they'd be nothing...but Seattle...just always seems to make that stupid dumb luck s**t work.

I hope we bury them but can't shake that feeling that the Niners will never win there.

This year is different. Just like the 1994 nfc championship game against the cowboys. Before that game it felt the niners would never beat the cowboys, losing the past two nfc championship games to them. But that game just felt different. I'm getting the same feeling this year. Maybe not this game, but maybe two weeks down the line.
i cant help thinking about Lynch breaing tackle after tackle like he used to but I think even after the injuries we still have a better Dline than the ones he used to run through. that and the fact that hes like 35 and hasnt played in over a year lol

Yep he hasnt had any football practice in weeks/months and is definitely not in game shape.
Anybody have a list of the inactives we had the last time we played Seattle? I remember arguing with a buddy who is a seahawk fan after the last game that I thought we were still the better team cause we lost on a missed FG in OT even with kittle, sanders and gould out. But I can't remember who else was out. Of course, now he's saying the seahawks were gonna win this week until they lost Carson, Prosise, and their LT. I still think this is gonna be a close game.
I hope the team isn't as scared as our fan base. News flash! This isn't 2013. Our boys are going to go into Seattle and play like its the NFCCG just like they did in NO. Seahawks better hope they can put up enough points to keep it close.

Sounds like he's been working out for a couple weeks knowing he might have a shot to play with Seattle. He's not gonna be coming off the couch to play BUT there's a difference between working out and being in actual football shape.

It's a different scheme then what they had in Seattle last time as well.

f**k these guys. We got this game. This is SF's season!

We have Kittle/sanders this time around (and our kicker).

Here you go. That's also not including Sanders being injured during the game and Kwon Alexander going to IR the week before.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
