Sure hope so
You really can't script this any better for us. Not only do we get a chance to exorcise some demons at Seattle in a big game but now we can slay the beast at the same time.

This niners team has a chance to make a lot of things right where prior teams failed. I'm actually glad Marshawn is back, will make what we are about to do that much sweeter.

We are a team of destiny. Kittle 4th and 2. 3rd and 16 twice

GIVE US THE BEAST - WE READY!!!

What about all the bad runs from that time span? there's plenty of those as well...

His last 6 games in Oakland outside of the Browns game he avg 3.5 ypc.

Seattle lost their starting center, LT, and the rest of their OL is junk. Throw in this is a different scheme compared to what they ran in Seattle when he was there.

without question this is a down grade from Carson.

Anyone who still thinks Marshawn is still good needs to be tested for drugs, dude is over the hill and sucked in jokeland, and even as bad as their oline was last year I believe it's better than the banged up seahawk line now

last yr in Oakland he was toast. I can't see him getting like 20 touches or anything either. Dude doesn't know the offense.

Maybe he get's some juice back but I expect it more in the playoffs .
Niners should be a totally different offense this time around, on account of Kittle and Sanders being back.

Honestly, the only way I see us losing is if Jimmy plays like a dumbass and throws a couple stupid picks. CLink is going to be electric -- especially with Lynch back -- and that place will thrive on momentum.

I think it's probable the Niners win -- the Hawks just aren't that good -- but they have to play it safe, which is not always Jimmy's strong suit.
This defense has shown it can play well against big, strong backs. Mark Ingram had 15 carries and only 59 yards against this D earlier in the season. Lynch is not in NFL shape and is likely to either pull a hammy or be completely gassed by the 2nd quarter.

Jimmy is real capable of throwing a couple dumb picks. Especially at Seattle.

"The Seahawks lost promising running back Rashaad Penny to a season-ending ACL injury Dec. 8 against the Los Angeles Rams. Four days later, Lynch visited the Seahawks' facility -- an appearance that the team was required to report to the league office but downplayed at the time as just Lynch catching up with old friends."

He's dealt with a ton of soft tissue injuries towards the end of this career. He's not in week 16 football shape either. Dude could pull his groin first run with contact. IF I was a Seattle fan I'd be pissed if this was the best they could do at RB.

And if he runs for 150 yards then seahawks fans will be happy

Losing Al woods looking like a bigger deal then people thought. He's one of their best run stuffing DTs. AZ lit them up on the ground.

I expect SF to run the ball OH and Wagner is gonna get destroyed by Kittle this time

IF is the key word. Outside of one good game vs the Browns last yr he was dogs**t (behind a better Raiders OL).

Pete trying to get nostalgic and throw in some old banged up RB lol. IMO it's more about pumping up the team/fans then actually getting a RB that can contribute. we will see...

basically told him to put the blunt down and hit the treadmill lol. He's not coming off the couch, but he's also not in football shape.
