What about all the bad runs from that time span? there's plenty of those as well...

His last 6 games in Oakland outside of the Browns game he avg 3.5 ypc.

Seattle lost their starting center, LT, and the rest of their OL is junk. Throw in this is a different scheme compared to what they ran in Seattle when he was there.

without question this is a down grade from Carson.

Anyone who still thinks Marshawn is still good needs to be tested for drugs, dude is over the hill and sucked in jokeland, and even as bad as their oline was last year I believe it's better than the banged up seahawk line now

last yr in Oakland he was toast. I can't see him getting like 20 touches or anything either. Dude doesn't know the offense.

Maybe he get's some juice back but I expect it more in the playoffs .
I just hope he hasn't been sitting at home juicing and working out for this very moment. Fresh for the playoffs.
If we finally win in Seattle... this truly is a special year.

I mean he passed a drug screen so he hasn't been juicing

there's a difference between being fresh and coming off the streets...we will see. I can't imagine they're gonna give him a ton of carries in less than a week of practice. IMO this is more to get the fans pumped and possibly to help in the playoffs.
Out-Carson, Procise, Brown, Diggs, Gordon.

Many of those guys played a big role in their week 10 win

In- Clowney, Griffin(most likely), Lynch and Turbin

Clowney has me worried but I'm thinking we'll be better prepared the next time around. Griffin Is a solid CB.

Meanwhile, we get two huge pieces back we didn't have week 10 in Kittle and Sanders. Players barely making their first game back were McGlinchey, Juice and Staley. Hope we get Tartt and Jullian this week.
Signing Lynch is a classic Pete Carroll move designed to rev up the crowd and put something else in the offense for the Niners to thin about. Fact is he didn't have a whole of of options so why not. If the Niners can't stop him then they aren't playoff worthy. If Lynch and Turbin really had much left they would have been playing. They may get a few carries to spell whoever starts but I doubt we'll see any long runs from either of them.

have to get off to a good start, for whatever reason we always manage to get people hurt vs this team. if we let lynch hurt us. we do not deserve to win

We would still be playoff worthy. No way we can win 12 games and not be worthy of the playoffs while teams are winning divisions with 8 games. We might not make it far but we would still definitely deserve to be there.

Dont matter tho bc we're gonna win.

Very good point!

IF is the key word. Outside of one good game vs the Browns last yr he was dogs**t (behind a better Raiders OL).

Pete trying to get nostalgic and throw in some old banged up RB lol. IMO it's more about pumping up the team/fans then actually getting a RB that can contribute. we will see...

I think he still has some left in the tank but I also know that this was a desperation move by Pete

My point is if we can't beat a banged up team so desperate that they are signing guys off the street then there is no way we are going to beat NO or the Packers on the road.

You're right, if we cant beat Seattle we prob arent going far. Im just saying still think we'd deserve a chance to try. Who knows, anything could happen.
