SF 49ERS @ SEA SEAHAWKS PREGAME THREAD - 2019 Season Week 17

Yeah looks like it's raining which may even the playing field.

there's a difference between being fresh and coming off the streets...we will see. I can't imagine they're gonna give him a ton of carries in less than a week of practice. IMO this is more to get the fans pumped and possibly to help in the playoffs.

That report that Lynch's visit with his former Seattle team on Dec 8th, this year, was just a social call was a deception, he was there to see if they had a interest in signing him....their FO probably told him to start to get in shape in case they did call him up....So he's most likely been working out since then, or even before that if he got notified earlier. As many
are stating, It's a team motivation signing as much as anything with a chance of him getting some real production. Seattle at home is a tough matchup, they are playing for all the marbles also, their team will be jacked and we all know their fans will be rapid......Go Niners

That's why I feel like it's going to be a poetic beat down. Fingers crossed we don't lose anyone in the process.

This. I'm hoping to see some things we haven't see. We already have Sanders and Kittle. That should help immensely. Get Coleman, Breida, and Juice involved in the passing offense. I'd like to jump on them quick and take out the crowd. Most importantly, take care of the ball.

Makes it worse for them with no run game I would think.
I'm not counting Lynch out of anything. He's built different.

Interesting that he was only a seahawk for 5 years?

If they isolate our backups we're going to have a hard time stopping them, period. Wilson isn't Goff, and the play from our starters has been sorely missed.

I think we can go score for score with them on offense if we soften them with the run game and feed Kittle.

Get Dwelley involved too. He could be our secret weapon with them keying on Kittle.

Gonna come down to the offense being able to get some big plays and keep their defense on its heels all game long. Shanahan has to come through with a great gameplan.
We absolutely need to play tighter defense. Wilson takes the quick, simple throw on first downs every time. It's either a quick out to the CB who's farthest off coverage or a screen. And 3rd downs, if it's a pass, it's almost always a quick slant. Let's see if Saleh has figured that out yet.

Hopefully Lynch will have fumble issues having not played in a year.
It's alarming how many of you have PTSD from all the beatdowns Seattle has given us over the years.

Lynch seems to have clouded a lot of your judgements.
