I keep hearing how GB lost out on the #1 seed and NO lost their bye week because of the refs on Sunday night.......GB lost the #1 seed on November 24th and the Saints lost the bye week on December 8th.

Packers have to be one of the worst 13-3 teams I've ever seen. They escaped the first game vs Detroit due to the refs literally handing them the win, on top of barely beating bad teams like the Giants and Redskins. And on top of that, lost badly to the Chargers, got pulverized by a championship caliber team (49ers) and lost to another playoff team (Eagles).

How the hell did they go 13-3?

theyre so 1 and done when the saints go in there and beat them

I would bet on the packers winning if the saints go to Lambeau field.
Saints are like 1-8 on the road in the playoffs and Rodgers "usually" wins home playoff games and home games.

And I think I'd rather have GB come to play then the Saints.

If they called that a touchdown on the field, we would have taken the L. No way, based off the angles, FOR SURE, you can say one way or the other he scored/did not score.

What? Sorry but they did not score. No way.

This was a perfect view, shows just how close it was. Hollister's back hits the ground a millisecond before he tries to turn to reach the ball over. Carroll tried to say it would've been upheld as a TD if it was called that on the field. I'm not so sure with this angle.

Great shot!
a game of inches!!!

I'd rather the Saints lose in Lambeau and have the Pack come back to SF for another whoopin.
Yeah me too

I'll take the Packers again as well

I wonder how much Dee Ford can contribute..........Look at this snap count before his injury. I would say the loss of D.J. Jones is more painful than Ford. It's clear we don't have interior pressure any longer while there are still plenty of edge rush.

With less edge pressure has come more double teams inside.

One thing that was working in the first half of last night's game was the pre-snap threat of blitz pressure. It forced more one-on-one blocking by the Sea OL which resulted in more pressure. Why Saleh went away from that in the second half is

In viewing the replay, I counted at least eight blitzes in the first half.
Results:
4 incompletions
2 catches
1 run
1 false start

Did somebody count the blitzes in the second half?

Just took a look at the 2nd half and saw 9 blitzes. 5 of them were on the final drive.
Results:
4 incompletions
3 completions for 26 yds
1 scramble
1 holding

Agree, that's why I think he needs a couple more years experience doing defensive adjustments before he moves to a head coaching position.

Ouch

Neon Deion, "Wilson found a hole in the secondary..." and specifically mentioned the improvement after Spoon was replaced.

Sherm in his postgame mentioned Emon stepping up. He was more subtle in his critique of Spoon.

Just watched the game at lunch. Looks like Mosely didn't replace Spoon until that last possession and didn't really do any better than Spoon in covering Metcalf. Most of the incompletions thrown his way were due to inaccuracy from getting pressure on Wilson.

spoon actually had a few nice pass breakups

No your wrong, that pass to Metcalf with 51 seconds left would have been a touchdown with Spoon tackling him after he caught the ball, Moseley plays good technique and always tries to knock the ball away, watch it again if you can

For a 68 year old man, Carroll is such a crybaby about stuff. He was short. There was no PI. Stop whining and get ready for Philadelphia.

I'm with you. Breida has had some rest and Coleman is looking tired.
