In the mean time we are getting rest, and are focused on the next game. We will be getting healthier while they are getting roughed up in Philly. Seattle lost a couple of more guys when we played, even though they might get a couple back for the Philly game. But it looks like we may get Ford and Tartt back, with the rest of the team getting healthier... I like our chances a lot playing at Levi's under this scenario. The crowd noise will be on our favor too, and it's an incredible advantage for the Seahags in the Clink...

If NO wins and goes to Lambeau, I think they might get their butts kicked. If it's snowy and cold, the run game may tell the tale. GB has a higher rated rushing attack according to NFL.com and is better defending against the rush.

My guess is we play GB again for the NFC championship.

We play the winner of that late Sunday game on Saturday in our house! The winner of Philadelphia and Seattle will be coming to see us on a VERY short week! Advantage SF. Plus this time we'll be at home WITH Kittle

Yeah, we're sitting pretty.
Eagles D will give them a game.
Eagles have been stout against the run most of the season. They did struggle against the Seahawks run game earlier in the season but Seattle's backfield has been depleted and their run game did not look very good against us week 17. I believe Philly will beat Seattle this time around but that is as far as the Eagles will go this post season. They have too many injuries on offense and our defense will be too much for them to overcome.

I have a lot more confidence in us beating GB a second time than I do us beating NO a second time. Either way I still see Niners vs Chiefs superbowl.

At the very least the Eagles D will give them a handful.
Seeing all them Seahawks post about how it was a PI makes me laugh. They get upset when you tell them that they always win games when the ref helps them out

Not to mention Dee Ford will be back. And when we win Alexander may be back for the NFC Championship game.

Should have been 4-0 in those games.

Could have easily been 0-4. Count your blessings.

Not true, never in any of those games were we in trouble of losing before we were in position to win, not even close.

Whats important is the ones we needed to win for the 1 seed and first round bye, we won. You can make an argument the first loss to seattle was huge but we made up for at the end of the season with an unbelievably difficult schedule and all the pressure.

If we didn't have so many injuries on defense - I would be very confident that we would make it to the superbowl. Hopefully we get Kwon back for NFCC and Tartt & Ford back for our first playoff game.

I've been a fan for over 50 years and it's hard to think of a regular season that was as exciting and entertaining as this one has been. This season had everything: defensive masterpieces, shoot-outs, incredibly memorable plays, six or seven nail-biters, comfortable blow-outs and, best of all, success. Very happy old Niner fan here. A great offensive-minded HC, tremendous players, a QB with a top-ten QB rating and almost 4,000 yards, a GM who knows what he's doing and tenacious D. This could be another great decade coming up.
