Not me...i'm very glad we don't have any 49ers playoff action this weekend.

Yeah the last two games, the heart has been taking a beating!

More like the last 5. Nothing illustrates the difference in strength of schedule than looking at the scores of our first 7 games and the last nine. We won our 1st 7 by an average of 12.5 points per game. The last 9 were decided by an average of 7; 6 if you take out the Packers game. Then we had the 5 nail biters at the end. Yes we fans deserve a break but imagine how good it must feel for the players.

No team stands a chance against us once we get Kwon, Tartt, and Ford back

Man, if we get all three back, our D will be so good! Because while these guys have been down, we've gotten improvements from Greenlaw, Moseley, etc.

Both good points. I think the difference is injuries, more than the strength of the teams we played with. But yes, the teams we played against the last 7 were very tough teams vs the first 7, still - I think if we had Dee Ford, Kwon, and some of our DB's all 100% - I think we'd win those last 7 by a comfortable and less stressful margin. Our last 5 superbowl wins were won in a comfortable manner because we were all healthy despite playing the best of what the AFC could offer.
Will be so good not biting nails this weekend :)
This will give me a good break to getready for the playoffs, and some well deserved sleep at the weekend as those kickoff times of the nfl late window games are brutal.

If the D returns to form but the O continues it's tear, this team will be straight unstoppable. The only concern with the D is the d-line depth but I'm dreaming of the Super Bowl!

FTFY
You guys... Jason Verrett could possibly get a ring for playing 2 snaps and getting burned on said 2 snaps. What a time to be alive

if we were to win it all this year, I can't explain to you guys how happy I would be.... words wouldn't be able to contain my excitement.
The fact that we have lost so much on defense and the media is s**tting on them while propping up Seattle mentioning all their injuries is hilarious. I think we can shut them down if our 3 guys come back close to full strength. Seattle will lose to us twice this season and still be b***hing about the opi non call.
Pretty good breakdown of our offense and defense for the season

Thank you for posting this. I love these end of year breakdown stats. I think the most interesting stat is the number of 2 high zone coverages at 44%. I can see on film that the 49ers are clearly running more 2 high zone coverages (Cover 2, Quarters, Cover6) this season but couldn't quantify it. The past 2 seasons, the 49ers were playing so much single high zone (Cover3). Now it's close enough to half and half (single high vs 2 high) that offenses can't be too sure what they are going to see.

I give a lot of credit here to Joe Woods who comes from a 2 high background with Leslie Frazier. Kocuruk has implemented the wide9, and it's Joe Woods imo, that has helped implement the addition of this many 2 high coverages. No longer can QBs key in on what the 49ers are going to do on every dropback.
