EVERYONE who has responded to this post explaining how the schedule is made with team records is COMPLETELY missing the point of your question. Sorry for that.

what do you mean? I sincerely had no idea how it worked

Right, but it is not known how the the location of the games are determined. You asked why we have to play AT New Orleans so often. As far as I know, that question cannot be answered. Why we play them ANYWHERE so often can be answered by the previous year's schedule

Yeah but once again, on-the-road to NOLA
Besides that, its the AFC/NFC East rotation

I also see a potential of 3 probable bad weather games.
Hopefully, the schedule makers won't bunch all of those outdoor venue games, late in the season.

Historically the Giants have our number. Since the 80's and Tuna the jerk...probably the team I hate losing to the most.

You never know. The Dolphins showed some real fight and have a slew of draft picks. I'm not predicting playoffs, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are a mediocre team next year that will shock a few teams, provided that they make the right pick at QB. The Giants have a really good back and made their QBOTF pick in Jones. They could make a move next year as well, provided they make the right coaching hire and that Daniel Jones progresses, I don't see it for the Jets, simply because of the head coach. Washington took a step in the right direction with their coaching hire (based on rumors), but I can't see past 5 or 6 wins.
Early prediction for the division:

1. Niners
2. Cardinals
3. Cheathawks
4. Rams

The Cardinals remind me of us last year. Young talent and a lot of potential. Seattle hasn't been drafting very well outside of maybe Metcalf, have hung in there in too many close games, and are one Russel Wilson injury away from irrelevance. The Rams make stupid salary cap decisions and have forgotten that they got where they are on 1st round draft picks...and have been tossing them like they have no value. How long will Ramsey tolerate mediocrity?

This is what I was thinking as well, when I read Hysterikal' post

Because just as the Niners improved, I'm sure there's a supposed
dog team on our schedule, who'll rise up and contend🤔

Patriots, Brady specifically, are not getting any younger or better. They foolishly traded away their future franchise quarterback two years ago. It took them forever to find a Brady and another fifteen years to find his replacement only to trade that guy away. Now they may have to wait a very long time again to find a good quarterback. Will always be a tough game, but on paper and a year away, that should be a win.
