The Atlanta game - poetic foreshadowing

I believe that game, in an ironic twist of fate turned out to be the blessing in disguise the team needed. Not only from a humbling, morale standpoint, but from an X's and O's standpoint as well. Saleh confirmed that last play to Julio was a miscommunication on the back end. After this game, it was mentioned by one of the players (press conference I believe?) as they referred back to learning from Atlanta. They learned. the players learned, the coaches learned. who knows. when it's all said and done, I AM thankful for that loss in Atlanta. To give up that goal line stand, and then to be RIGHT where they were supposed to be this time around in stopping a similar outcome from transpiring, was everything.

it felt like the pick at the stick with Bowman. amazing. not only to grab the #1 seed, homefield advantage all throughout the playoffs, to get healthy, but to END the treacherous curse of not having won in Seattle since 2011, or even putting up more than 20 points; all culminating to one of the best and most satisfying wins I can remember.

feels great baby

But if we beat ATL, the SEA game wouldn't matter and we could rest most of our starters.
