I read that we play the lowest seed of the first-round teams. Is that true or do we play the winner of the Eagles Seahawks game?

Either one of those teams unless Minnesota pulls another miracle in NO and beat the Saints then we play them instead.

Highest seeds play the lowest seeds.

1 vs 5/6
2 vs 3/4

Depending on the outcomes - SF could play Philadelphia, Seattle, or Minnesota (won't play New Orleans in the divisional round)
GB could play New Orleans, Philadelphia, or Seattle (won't play Minnesota in the divisional round).

so..... 1 vs 4/5/6 and 2 vs 3/4/5

I expect it will be SF/Seattle and GB/NO, but you never know, especially this year.
We play the lowest seed 6. Minnesota if they advance or 5. Seattle if they win and Minnesota loses 4. Philadelphia if both Minnesota and Seattle lose.
I'd rather play Philly. I think philly can beat Seattle
Duh. Eagles.
for sure Philly....I f**king can't stand their fan base though.

I got guys on twitter telling me the NFC west isn't tough, like for real? Peterson is the COY and it's not close blah blah blah
I'm not into the easier road. More exciting to kick Seattle's ass. I HATE them. We owe them some playoff payback. Both teams present challenges. That Eagles DL is impressive especially against the run. Wentz is a baller without much help. Good coach. However much rather make Pete choke on that gum and stomp on Russell's face. Make it a run to remember boys.

Easiest team would be the Vikes. Not because of talent (they are one of the most talented teams in the NFL) but because Cousins is their QB. He seems to suck ass whenever the game means anything at all. They also don't play real well away from home. All these teams are good especially this year but so are we.

I mean the niners got 50 more yards of total offense and averaged over 3 yards more per play. Seattle won the time of possession game and the niners had a couple of untimely penalties (questionable at that) that kept Seattle in it. Watching the whole game, there is no doubt in my mind who the better team was.

Also in a couple of weeks your looking at having Tartt and Ford back. I personally don't care who we play but I believe Philly is the easier out just because Wentz can't pull that David Copperfield pocket escaping stuff out of his *ss quite like Wilson.

There is no "easier" games at this point of the season. We already had "easy" games that we were double digit favorites in (AZ ATL) and we went 1-1 in those games.

Its more about matchups and I think we match up good against all the teams left (assuming we stay healthy and get guys back) so either way we should feel confident against whichever team we face. Of all the teams left IMO Minn is tne one that scares me the most.

Agreed, nothing is given in the playoffs. There is always some ridiculous surprise wins and loses.

Like I said before it's not possible that we play MN.
It's all part of life's "absolutes"

- Death
- Taxes
- O.J. did it
- MN can't win in NO this weekend

Now if the impossible actually happened that would be GREAT. That means that NO is OUT and they, right now, are the only team I truly fear.
I've got WAY more confidence vs Seattle @ home, it's not even a question of whether we can beat them.

I just wonder if that's the easiest route, which I would rather have of course. Attrition and all...
Minnesota or Philly. No pride in not taking the easiest route to the SB.

Eagles are missing a ton of players due to injury. Just making the playoffs took a lot of luck and coaching. They may be one and done this year but if they get lucky enough to get by Seattle they would be the easiest rout to a conference championship.

Eagles get to a Conference Championship? I don't think so - they're just not that good.
