The NFC playoff bracket set up really nice for us.
# 2 seed Packers are a team we put a beat down on not that long ago. A team that has a recent history of struggling on the west coast.
# 3 seed saints who I think are our biggest threat have a pretty tough road to get to us. They have to play the Vikings a team that honestly matches up pretty well with them and then have go up to Greenbay in January. The saints a team who lives in the south and play the majority of there games each year in a dome

We have as good of a playoff set up as I could have hoped for. My ideal Games would be to play Eagles and then to play the Packers. This doesn't mean it will work out perfectly for us and that we have an easy road to the Superbowl,as depending on who wins we could still be very easily looking at Playing Seattle then the Saints.

I think we will play the.....Seahawks.....Saints.....Ravens.

Those are all very tough games that match up well against us.

I would rather play the.....Eagles.....Packers.....Somebody not called Ravens but I think the Chiefs present a tough match up as well.

That's an easier road to the Super Bowl trophy. But there are no easy games now. It's 1 game elimination. You got to come ready to play each week now no matter who it is or how tough it is or how well they match up against you.

The funny thing is this is the most likely road, but the playoffs rarely go like that. There's an upset somewhere and hopefully if there is one on our path, it's in the Super Bowl (I know Baltimore would be favored over us) where we beat Baltimore or Kansas City (who could possibly be favored over us).

I mean the niners got 50 more yards of total offense and averaged over 3 yards more per play. Seattle won the time of possession game and the niners had a couple of untimely penalties (questionable at that) that kept Seattle in it. Watching the whole game, there is no doubt in my mind who the better team was.

Also in a couple of weeks your looking at having Tartt and Ford back. I personally don't care who we play but I believe Philly is the easier out just because Wentz can't pull that David Copperfield pocket escaping stuff out of his *ss quite like Wilson.

There is no "easier" games at this point of the season. We already had "easy" games that we were double digit favorites in (AZ ATL) and we went 1-1 in those games.

Its more about matchups and I think we match up good against all the teams left (assuming we stay healthy and get guys back) so either way we should feel confident against whichever team we face. Of all the teams left IMO Minn is tne one that scares me the most.
Eagles but they don't stand a chance against the seahawks
bring on the seacocks

i want dee ford and tartt back though. i want to destroy them at levis

There are really four serious contenders: Ravens, Chiefs, Saints and 49ers. Any of those teams can beat each other on a given day. I don't think the Packers can beat any of them (they beat the Chiefs when they didn't have Mahomes) -- but, they might get lucky with a horrendously cold game against the Saints, a strong possibility at Lambeau. I don't think Seattle can beat any of them except for us. The Pats can't beat the Ravens and probably not the Niners or Saints.

The spread has been jumping all over the place with that Seattle at Philly game. It started out at -1 for Seattle and then jumped all the way up to -2.5 and now has come back down to -1.5. I hate Seattle, so take this for what it's worth, but I think that's a tough game for Seattle on Sunday. They're still banged up and Philly has played a lot better recently.

Philly isn't an easy place to play. Did Seattle beat them in philly this year?

Yes, but that was Philly at their absolute lowest point. They finished off the year with four wins.

Seattle lost another key piece on defense lastnight too, so really it could go either way.

Let's not pull what I said out of context. I'm not saying anybody is a whiff in the playoffs. I'm just stating that I think the team has a better match up against Philly due to Wentz not being able to escape pressure like Wilson. There is a clear and define difference between calling one team an "easier" out versus just flat out calling someone "easy".

I also stated that I don't care who we face. Bottom line is this team has beaten Seattle, Green Bay, and New Orleans and gave Baltimore all they could handle. They get Ford and Tartt back and that will only help. I feel confident that if they play up to their capabilities then they can beat anyone in the NFL.

This is an excellent point. Also, the Eagles should get Ertz back for the upcoming Wildcard game against Seattle. So that will make really make the those Seahawk linebackers, outside Wagner of course, lost in the middle of the field.
Shehawks and here's why. Given that it would be a Divisional game, we need a game to really amp ourselves which will carry on to the Championship and Miami. I feel that we might get over confident if we face Philly.

Cousins beats the Saints - that'd be a neat trick.

Being in the postseason isn't amplification enough? The entire media industry doubting the team, and most especially our franchise QB is more than enough to propel this team to victory in Miami.

Why do your posts always seem like you're rooting for the worst for the Niners

I think he is a more realist type fan and definitely is a solid poster here. I see nothing wrong with what he says

yea, seriously. talk about overreacting from Kyzen lol

Not an over reaction, just a pattern if you look at his posts. I have no problem with disagreeing or pointing out flaws, but it just seems like the day after te biggest win in almost 10 years the sentiment would be that of cloud nine, not pointing out which teams "could" beat us again, especially when you consider the fact that this team is just 3 plays away from being undefeated while losing almost all their depth on D.

Seems like the mindset should be that of glass more than half full, not glass almost empty and about to fall off the table. But thats just me.

ah fair enough, my bad
