I love the throwbacks home and away, but the idea of making them permanent bothers the hell out of me. Our current uniforms are amazing and don't need to be touched by any means

This is true. I think our away jerseys are the best jerseys in the league and what I hope we wear if we make the SB. But either way it doesn't matter that much to me.

I want the cherry red 94 jerseys with the white pants.

The gold pants are a million times better than white pants. We have the best uniforms in the league. Stick with it.

Then it's not all bad at all. The regular uni's are great as well. I like the temporary change of pace the '94 throwbacks brought. '94 was just a special season regardless of the uni's, but the team made the uni's they wore that season look great because they played great (after the Philly game). The team this season has thus far lived up to the legacy of the '94 team and I think they'll finish the job regardless of the particular uni's.

I agree. LOL. We literally have the best uniforms in the league and in league history. The gold pants, shiny gold helmets and deep red jerseys are just outstanding for a sports uniform. It's literally killer and the most cool uniform ever. There is no reason to change it at all. They can play 1 regular season game with the throwbacks. But that's enough IMO. When you have the absolute best why change it something worse?

If the players petition to use the alt white jerseys then the team should fight for it. It means the players respect the history of their franchise and most of them if they were alive saw the last Super Bowl we won. If they ask to wear a throwback uni then they that means there's an extra piece of 49ers nostalgia that they want to tap into and respect. And come game day it's an extra piece of motivation in the face of adverse situations.

It's not why they won because of those ugly uniforms. The ugly uniforms won't help them this time either. They won with the traditional and beautiful uniforms many times with Montana. Stick with the best uniform in the league. There is no reason to change it.
