I want to talk about the non-call.

I agreed with it because the Seahawks receiver initiated contact. Also, when the defender and the receiver get their arms linked up, you have to give some kind of leeway to the defender in terms of disengaging.

The Seahawks in 2016 did the same thing to Gronk at the goal line, with no flag.

I'm actually really pissed off about this, because all the talking heads are saying it was a blatant missed call (not that we should care what the talking heads say). The no call was absolutely correct, and I'm not writing this just because I'm a Niner fan.

The Seahawks player not only initiates contact but he does so 6-7 yards down field. If anything it's offensive interference. Additionally, the ball is thrown on a rope behind him-- I don't think he could have caught it regardless.

The Niners won legitimately. If anything they got robbed on the unsportsmanlike conduct call for Garland blocking down-field after the play was over-- how was he supposed to know the play was dead behind him if he can't hear the whistle? I just don't want any sort of asterisk attached to this win, because it seems to me the world will see anything the Niners do after this as tainted. Pisses me off.

Carroll talknbout more cameras for more angles lol

Left shoulder hit the ground, ball in the right arm. Down by contact. Short.

NY refs said they got a good look at the PI no call. They don't need to see any more angles on Carroll's BS play to solely game the refs for a PI

Yep. F**k Carroll. Seattle pushes the envelope every season as they typically commit quite a bit of holding both offensively and defensively because they know the refs won't throw a flag every play. Now he wants to cry about not getting a call go his way?

I've posted in other threads the Seahawks first touchdown should have been called back for the same reason their other one was just a couple plays before. The olineman hooked his arm around Buckner's neck and allowed Wilson to run past him to find Lockett in the end zone. The hold was a carbon copy of what they had just called when the olineman hooked Armstead.

I once had a license plate that read: 1628746

get it?
The personal foul call on the Niners during the preceding drive was not even arguable and ten times more damaging to our winning chances yet everybody wants to talk about a no call that was probably correct but a little bit grey. They can all sit and spin. One seed baby!
