Neither is Blair.

* 2018 college season ended with a knee injury

* Was a top 5 pick in the CFL draft

* Had 12 tackles and 1 sack this year in the CFL.

Wasn't very productive but we must've seen something like we did we Brunskill and Moore. Let's hope he can help us in the future.
Defensively, they have been doing well in getting some good DLinemen in the lower draft rounds and free agency. I hope with Kongbo that continues.

Seems like they think they think they can coach him up in our scheme and then try him out in camp. I'd say it seems unlikely he'd make the team next year, but definitely would not be shocked if he ended up on our 2020 practice squad. Kongbo is a superior athlete to Valoaga.

The Wide 9 scheme is a very interesting scheme, and I'm still trying to get my head around it, but if you have a DLineman that can accelerate and have enough upper body strength to hand fight and gap penetrate, it's a wonderful scheme for one dimensional linemen, I think.
All I see is 'Kongo Bongo'
His name makes me think of shrimp gumbo ...
