I think it's great that practically everyone is picking the Vikings to win.

Been the story all year, this Niner team thrives on being underestimated.

Sherman and Kwon will have the defense fired up.

ESPN has SF with a 66% chance of winning (which is pretty damn high).

It's a fun story for Minn, they went into NO and beat the big ol' bad Saints. Thing is, SF is actually a better offense (avg more pts per game and total yards then NO). SF is the 2nd overall team running the ball (NO was 16th). SF is the 2nd overall D (NO was 11th). While NO is for sure a home field advantage, they both play in a dome. Won't be the case this week. Minn also basically had a bye week to get healthy for NO. Not this week.

Big media loves hot takes and creating stories, end of the day if you asked these dudes to put their money down on who will win....I highly doubt they pick Minn.

but yeah I got no problem with them firing up our team

This! And just a note, I haven't heard any one pick the Vikings.

another fun fact...SF is avg 32.4 pts at home and Minn is 2-4 outside of domes this yr.

Naaah. Then, you'll have the talking heads say that we're not "putting teams away".

Can we please have a boring 24-3 puntfest? I am already a nervous wreck. Do this for my poor heart. Pretty please? No more excitement.
I am absolutely abysmal at predicting scores but here goes - I think the 9ers win 20 to 13. I think the defenses are going to be much of the story of this game with Shanahan coming up with enough chunk plays to have the 9ers come out on top.

I would LOVE a blowout....I've lost 5 yrs of my life watching 9er football this yr. We haven't blown a team out since the Packers

Yeah, a blowout would be welcome - nail biters are killing me.

Lotsa stats out there, here's one... From the Kevin Patra article,"In the past five games that both Thielen and running back Dalvin Cook have been healthy, the Vikes have won five straight, averaging 34.6 points and 429.4 total yards". Obviously,Our defense needs to bring their A game... Go Niners

Vikings win this and they will be certified NFL World Beaters taking down two of the top teams in the NFC.

How crazy does that sound?

Crazy Enough that our Niners will be jacked up enough to "Eat lightning and $hit thunder " tomorrow...Go Niners
So much bulletin board material coming in late. Everyone is jumping on the Vikings bandwagon and hoping for the upset. Niners have thrived when there is perceived disrespect. Enough about the Vikings D and Dalvin Cook. Niners three headed monster plus Kittle control the clock and Niners win by 10 at home.

Of their last 5 games they played, 3 teams were already eliminated Lions, Chargers, Bears. Packers beat them 23-10. Beat the Saints in overtime 26-20 really good win for the Vikes. They are essentially 1-1 against playoff caliber teams right now. They are a very good team. Nothing scarier than what the Niners have played through the last 6 games

So since garbage Maiocco and this garbage media decided to spew their negativity and say ford is our for this game how much do you guys expect us to lose this Sunday? I expect the official scoring prediction saying we're gonna lose today
Since ford is "out"

First, we do not play today. We play tomorrow. Second, I have not seen any reports saying Dee Ford is out. Shanahan said they were being extra cautious this time around. He did practice this week, didn't he? So that is a good sign. Third, Maiocco is not garbage. He is one of only a few Niner beat writers without an agenda.

All of them are garbage. Maiocco could've said ford was limited and ready to go but of course he has to lie and say he has 50/50 chance to play when it's really 80/20. The liars in this garbage local media keep lying.

Matt is only reporting what Kyle said at the presser genius. So you calling Kyle garbage now too?

Kyle never said he was out like Maiocco implied. Kyle said he would play but that they were being slightly cautiousZ but of course Maiocco and the local media continue to twist his words to push their negative agenda. That's how the media works these days. It's not about reporting news it's all about agendas. So sad

Chill your conspiracy theories there Mel Gibson...all teams like to cast doubt on who will play in critical match ups and the media helps them. It has gone on for decades.

Everyone's excited and amped up for this game, it's understandable that emotions are jacked up as well. You seem to think it's important that Maiocco placed what would be perceived as a positive spin on Ford's status.

Why do you think that? And where did you read it more 80/20?

Agreed, not scarier then what we've faced lately, but usually stats ( including the ones I quoted ),don't always tell the whole story. ...Let's Just get this win tomorrow, Go Niners
Do the Niners give up an opening drive TD and then lock in or does the defense come out gang busters?
