Spoon's gotta be on a short leash.

Wow. So pissed. Even if spoon balls out he is still way too inconsistent and depends on a great pass rush.

I still think spoon has potential to be a solid #2 but right now I'd start Eman since he seems more confident of the two.

Spoon looks sloppy & lazy. Doesn't play with any urgency. Too risky especially in the playoffs

I think Akhello's confidence is shot right now.
Sherm will get him right

Spoon just doesn't have the heart he once had, I'd like to attribute it to his lack of physical conditioning while he was injured but I would bet Kwon was doing the most he could to stay in shape....whilst Spoon just lost muscle/confidence.

I'm not sure why Spoon is even being considered?
He's like the PETTIS of our Defense... looks good on uniform, talks big... celebrate great... but CAN'T EVEN PLAY !!!
Each time a QB throws an INCOMPLETE pass to his side, Spoon acts like he had something to do with it !!! EVEN when it's WAYYYY OUT OF BOUNCEEE !!!

Not only is spoon struggling a lot in coverage right now but he is a crap tackler and a big liability there. I think this is an easy decision. Eman

I think people are overreacting. If the pass rash comes back Ahkello will be fine. Our whole championship run pretty much hinges on the DLine.
There's probably a cream for that.
Just put some Dee Ford on it and it'll clear right up.

Moseley is a thousand times better than Witherspoon. It's not even close. I don't see how it is even in question. It's shocking that it is in question for the 49ers and scares me that they think so. Because anybody who actually watches the games can see who is better.

Well obviously, it's ultimately up to the coaches to choose.
But, who would you start? Who do you think helps the team win more?
I don't have enough information to go off of. The best source of information I have is the webzone mob. The same group that lambasted Ward, Armstead, & Saleh. The 9ers staff heavily backed Ward and Armstead while the zone was roasting them and Lynch/Shanny backed Saleh while the zone roasted him. It seems their judgement was spot on
So even though I think Mosley may be the better choice I have to play the odds and side with the current webzone public enemy #1, Witherspoon! Knowing that the zone hates him and the coaching staff loves him is all I need to cast my vote!

Seems like Moseley is the obvious answer. Matt Maiocco is basically a Niner historian, and in a game he described as the biggest regular season game in niner history, Moseley was on the field making plays on the final potential game winning drive
Moseley has been better than Spoon. Spoon did really well when the defensive line was dominating. Moseley was solid once the line slowed down due to injuries.
Spoon better be on a short leash. Two really good wideouts for the secondary on Saturday

I don't think it is a big deal if we start Spoon. Let him see if he has a feel for the WR and what MIN is trying to do. If he doesn't, then you pull him quick. If he does, then he is definitely capable of playing at an elite level.

The webzone when Spoon gives up that first TD:
