People underrate the value of strong leadership. Lynch was a leader at Stanford, a leader with Tampa, a leader with Denver and now he's been doing an outstanding job as a face of the 49ers organization. He's not an ego-driven guy, he's put together a terrific front office and has been the glue that has helped keep things together. He's not a super scout but for the role he's played, he doesn't need to be. He can hire the super scouts and ensure that everyone works well together, front office and coaching staff. The difference between that and Baalke is completely night and day.
