Hopefully the Niners put Witherspoon on the Vikings' team bus and sent him to Minnesota

Read the article about how yesterday was the first time 5 first round picks each had a sack. I wonder how often each starting lineman had a sack. Usually when one team is getting a lot of sacks it's because 1 or 2 guys are dominating, not the entire line. It was all of them yesterday and we didn't even have to blitz.

We shouldnt wait until next week to have an ac and a couple of staff start thinking about tennessee.
Problem is, we have to change our personnel to deal with tennesse. Not sure we have the thumpers at lb to punish henry. Hes bigger than kwon and dre and fred.
5 man front splitting snaps with earl and solly. Something like that.
This team could play FSU in the super bowl and the Webzone would still be scared i wonder how many posters would yell "trap game!" if the super bowl is in fact Niners vs Titans
Even in the worse case scenario where we couldn't stop Derrick Henry, Tannehill would get eaten alive by our defenses and we'd outscore the Titans.

I didn't know Titans played the afc championship game yesterday!
Lol. Word.
I thought Baltimore would probably win a close game and I was wrong but I still think KC is the team to beat in the AFC. 49ers vs Chiefs maybe. Still got 2 divisional and 2 Championship games to go. A lot of games to be played yet. Henry is a beast though but at some point Tanny will have to pass to win. We'll see.

Nah. As frustrating as Witherspoon is, he is good enough that he will earn a contract from some team and likely net us a comp pick in 2022 lol. Hoping he has a career year next season.

I think the best you can do is just get in Henry's way and slow him down some, and hope you don't get too many injuries... that dude is just a freak of nature, the remaining teams should be worried, including us. He would be a challenge to stop.

Been looking at some Vikings' forums this morning. Their really hardstruck on four things.
They think Stefanski blew it because he was preparing more for his head coach interview than he was the playoff game. Their ticked at the Browns.
They want to move on from Zimmer and Spielman. They think the team has peaked under their direction and will not compete for a super bowl under them.
They want to move on from Cousins. They don't see a championship caliber qb in him.
Lastly their talking about Bosa. They think it was a cheap shot and they think their team is soft for not reacting to it at all.

game like that is a tough one to forget. Hope it didn't do long term damage to the guy's psyche. He can play a little at times. But E-man clearly took his job yesterday. Spoon had his chance.

Dream scenario. Browns hire saleh. Vikes fire zimmer. We get zimmer. What say.

Cooks was a beast to. I think they can collectively limit Henry, maybe not 18 yards but maybe under 100. Jimmy and the O will need to play the TOP game though.....if it comes down to a SF/TEN SB.

This is a bit unfair. So many QBs have had the worse game of the season or their career against this D-line. In all honesty, there is no shame in what happened to Kirk Cousins yesterday. I still think he is anti-clutch, but I'm not blaming him for that game. The real surprise was the inability for their run game to get going.
As for them peaking, I do look at the QB. The team is still incredibly talented. They still should be in the mix to win their division and have to be considered one of the better teams in the NFC. If they can overcome what happened yesterday, they can be equal to or better next year.
They probably should move on from Cousins. The problem is that the chances are you won't find someone better. An interesting twist of fate would be if they signed Bridgewater lol.
I wonder if their guy didn't get hurt do they call it a cheap shot? Bosa hit him in the chest.

Or Saleh stays and our D continues to dominate.

Henry, to his credit, has had two HUGE playoff games, but I don't recall that he was much of a factor in the game we played against them a couple of years ago. I don't follow the AFC much so I don't know what kind of year he has had in general but it is not uncommon for a player to hit a patch of games where he is just in a zone and can seem to do no wrong. Niners did a pretty good job of neutralizing Kamara and Cook who everyone thought were going to be big factors in our games against their respective teams and though he is a different sort of back than those guys I think we have the horses on defense to slow him down.
Our linebackers and safeties may not be the biggest guys at their positions in the league but the fly to the ball and I don't see him getting the kind of long breakaway runs that he had against the Pats and the Ravens unless he is able to drag three or four guys along with him, plus they still have to get past whoever wins the game today, which I suspect will be the Chiefs. Go Niners!!
