Dream scenario. Browns hire saleh. Vikes fire zimmer. We get zimmer. What say.

Or Saleh stays and our D continues to dominate.

Saleh took a lot of heat for the D regressing a little when we had those injuries. The got Kwon, Tartt, and Ford back yesterday and the D dominated. I get its next man up when injuries happen but at the same time its the talent level those back-ups had. Saleh had to work with what he had. I honestly don't mind if he was here next year. Its about consistency on both sides of the ball with the coaching staffs.

I doubht Saleh gets the CLE job anyway. Their better served with an offensive guy for Baker and the weapons he has there and they have weapons.

Titans are kinda scary right now. They have that 2011 Giants/2012 Ravens sort of playoff mojo going. People look at their record but forget that they were so bad with Mariota early on but once they replaced him with Tannehill, they flipped that script.

The ravens losing really opens things up for us.

We shouldnt wait until next week to have an ac and a couple of staff start thinking about tennessee.

Problem is, we have to change our personnel to deal with tennesse. Not sure we have the thumpers at lb to punish henry. Hes bigger than kwon and dre and fred.

5 man front splitting snaps with earl and solly. Something like that.

I didn't know Titans played the afc championship game yesterday!

Lol. Word.

I thought Baltimore would probably win a close game and I was wrong but I still think KC is the team to beat in the AFC. 49ers vs Chiefs maybe. Still got 2 divisional and 2 Championship games to go. A lot of games to be played yet. Henry is a beast though but at some point Tanny will have to pass to win. We'll see.

Cooks was a beast to. I think they can collectively limit Henry, maybe not 18 yards but maybe under 100. Jimmy and the O will need to play the TOP game though.....if it comes down to a SF/TEN SB.

One thing that has kind of been overlooked was that there were several dropped balls by 49ers WR's yesterday. Not sure if it was Jimmy off or off of jitters. Luckily they didn't matter. Not trying to be negative, just an observation.

Agreed they are playing good defense, and Henry is a monster with his size and speed. Good defense and running the ball is always a winning formula. Ryan T has been pretty good as well.

In this era of passing and wide open offense, it's interesting that both teams won yesterday with running and good defense. The basics of the game never really change.
My voice is completely gone from yesterday

Just curious. How was the vibe and noise at Levis yesterday? It didn't sound crazy on the tube but they may have been because the came wasn't close like the last 5 were. I was totally relaxed during the 4th quarter.

The Vikings obviously took away Kittle yesterday but I wonder why they didn't throw more to Sanders. He was open a few times but they only targeted him twice and that was early. I see this happen a lot where they go to him early and then don't throw his way much after that. I know they didn't throw much in the second half but they threw to Bourne on that 3rd and 4 when Sanders has better hands. Not hating on Bourne but it seems Sanders is more reliable in that situation.

Very true, they have that look.
However it's becoming apparent that this Niners team today is more equipped to win than the ones that faced the giants and ravens those years. Two or three positive plays in a drive that eluded Roman and harbaugh, but that Shanny would find, would be the difference.
In the necessary match ups, coaching included, we have the tools to win those tight 3 point contests.
I like the Titans roll and wouldn't be surprised to see them in the SB. Vrabel has them cooking.
Go Niners.

Usually when one team is getting a lot of sacks it's because 1 or 2 guys are dominating, not the entire line. It was all of them yesterday and we didn't even have to blitz.
That was an eye opening stat.

Some talking heads used that to keep putting doubt on Jimmy. dont know if Jimmy is good, it was the defense that won

Personally it's the best team that wins, not the best player, and when you have a DLine that rivals the '84 super bowl team, I like our chances going forward. I just hope we stay healthy.

Can the Browns ever get out of their own way? They're now going to hire Kevin Stefanski, Minnesota's OC as their new HC.

After yesterday?

So who do we wanna face next week....GB? I kind of don't want to see Seattle again.

It will be better if we play the packers because the niners matchup well with them. The Seahawks are in our division and know us really well and those are close games.

Truth.

Except I think this Niners team crushes the Seahawks if they make it out of GB.

Remember that the first meeting the Seahawks won the offense was decimated by injuries and the defense had lost Kwon and Ford.

The last meeting, Niners win, but the defense still hadn't regained the form we saw yesterday.

I think if we play the Seahawks again they're in for a rude awakening and will realize they played a depleted Niner team twice this year and were still lucky to win even 1 of those games.

Just curious, but I wonder if you're aware of the injuries the Seahawks had when they played us that week?

Their starting RB's Carson, Penny both out for the season. Lynch's first game in a year.

Their best OL Duane Brown didn't play.

Their best safety Quandre Diggs didn't play.

Every offensive lineman they played had a questionable designation going into the game except for George Fant (whoever the hell he is).

They've been without their starting TE in Will Dissly since like week 4 I think?

They've been without their starting C Justin Britt since mid season... and that guy they start currently is terrible.

And we still only won by an inch. Pretending that we were the injured team going up against a healthy Seattle roster is pretty stupid.

Gotta wait for Jonneydel and THL to breakdown the game film for us

Because they ran the ball 47 times. Only 5 or 6 passes in the second half .

I laughed. And then thanked God I wasn't a Browns fan.
