The Vikings obviously took away Kittle yesterday but I wonder why they didn't throw more to Sanders. He was open a few times but they only targeted him twice and that was early. I see this happen a lot where they go to him early and then don't throw his way much after that. I know they didn't throw much in the second half but they threw to Bourne on that 3rd and 4 when Sanders has better hands. Not hating on Bourne but it seems Sanders is more reliable in that situation.
Gotta wait for Jonneydel and THL to breakdown the game film for us
Because they ran the ball 47 times. Only 5 or 6 passes in the second half .
Minnesota always does some interesting stuff to defend our pass game. Most teams this year have sold out against the run but they're the first ones to sell out against the pass. Harrison Smith and Kendricks were playing some interesting traps and sitting on some crossing routes like no other team I've ever seen. They seemed to know when the reciever crossing their face was just trying to clear them out for the next guy coming behind.
On Kendrick's INT, the replay showed he didn't go for the play fake at all (which is not wise against a zone run scheme) and just sold out on the pass from the start. Kyle made the right move going to 90% run.
