No joke. They were by far the best. There's not even an announcing team now that can even come close.

I know it's not NFL but Kurt herbstraight and the other guy are the best in the business right now

Any word as to who is starting, Eman or Spoon?

Better fn be eman

Saw a headline that said Spoon trusts that the position is in good hands with Mosely so I guess it's Eman.
I was watching the Chris Simms video on youtube, talking about this game Sunday.

Basically what he says is, Rodgers just needs to always be on the run, not forced out of the pocket, but have plays that have him either roll out or always on the move,

Last time i checked, Rodgers isn't a scramble QB nor is he fast enough to do that all game.

But sounds like they're going to try to throw us off our game.

Rodgers goes offscript a lot because he's only a half inch taller than Wilson.

Damn, Mike Mcglinchey with bulletin board material telling the media that "Jimmy G is better than Aaron Rodgers."

Where did you see that?

Watch this video, starts at 5:30 mark

I'm totally fine with that in its context.

Ya, totally innocuous.

Let's kick some ass!
So is there such thing as bulletin board material in the Championship game? I mean if everyone isn't playing at 100 for a game of this magnitude, then you shouldn't even be here.

I'll be repping my #8 jersey this weekend for sure.

I'm watching as well, and I don't recall ever seeing this one replayed in its full original broadcast on NFLN before. This is an underrated loss imo. I recall being devastated because I felt like it was a pretty poor performance

No he isn't and what does height have to do with it?

It sucked for me too. I lost my mother and my best friend, both to cancer in 1997 so I was hoping to get a little joy back in my life. Instead it was a rainy day with a crappy game. A fitting ending to one of the worst years in my life. To top it off, we had to fight the traffic getting out and drive all the way back to Sunnyvale.

Up next, they show the 1998 Packers wildcard with a much better ending, Owens, Owens ,Owens.

That's tough to hear, and I can agree in that football can absolutely provide an escape during tough circumstances.

From this game, that freeman slant touchdown is just seared into my memory.

Also, on a side note, I know this may sound blasphemous, but I think those 1996-2008 jerseys looked better with the white pants we wore in 96 and 97.
