SF 49ERS vs GB PACKERS Pregame Thread - 2019 NFC CHAMPIONSHIP

For me the season would be a colossal failure up there with 1987, 1990, 1992, 1993, 1997, 2011-2013 if we don't win it all.

To get this far with all the advantages of teams like Seattle, new Orleans, Baltimore and New England all be knocked out.... the path is clear for us to win it all NOW

It's Jimmy G's time now. He's going to go take these next 2 games. The defense is going to kill on Sunday. All this talk of Rodgers and a new Packers game plan. They hear it, it will show Sunday.

At full strength this defense is historic. If it can do that for 2 more games we'll be champs.

Kind of surprising we still got that with the Saints game.

Agree. I thought we dropped to 15th after that game.

Doesnt matter now, with Dee Ford back, look out NFL! I swear that DLine looks exactly like the '84 team. If Dee Ford was 100% the entire year, I could see this team go 15-1 like the '84 team in the regular season.

Re: 1992 through 1993, that was George and his stupid Charles Haley trade, as far as I'm concerned. We could have had another 2 or 3 Lombardies but for that trade.

With out a doubt we should have at least 2 more chips.

They may but Rodgers has never been a guy who throws quick short passes consistently. He loves his big plays, can he play a game more about duping the ball off? We'll see.

No question they will try to speed things up and get the ball out quick to beat our rush but I imagine we're going to double Adams. Can someone else beat us? We'll find out...I certainly hope not.

Rodgers will use more play action and get rid of the ball much quicker this game out of the gun. I know this because he said it himself. Have to try to take away the 1st option because he had no deep throws last time but He is going to take some chances this time. He is not going to go down easily.

I won't predict the outcome of this game cause I can't stand doing that, but I will say this. If the 9ers make it to the Super Bowl I can guarantee it will be a much better and more watched Super Bowl than the s**t show they called Super Bowl LIII!!!!
Wow Florio is just a total f**k face isn't he. The douche is such a self-important, stupid Niner hater. Probably still pissed his dumb ass pick of the Vikings in the last game didn't go so well. He can't stand Jimmy G either, such a jealous motherf**ker.

Stat of the day:

Looking back in the NFL data chest, the Packers have been seven-point underdogs only 20 times since 1995. However, when they are underdogs, they do not do so well. In those 20 games, the Packers only managed to win three.

I bet some dude with a niner bumper sticker shagged his girl or something
The boys seem focused and on point, Kyle has an extra day to prepare plus already have played them, the Packers are going to lose no doubt about it.

So the 49ers should have 8 more super bowl appearances? So possibly 13 total Lombardi's? That would be nice. Only one team is happy at the end of the season, just one. That said, this year is a great opportunity with those other teams done.

"Situationally, this is set up nice for the Packers.

The media, almost universally, is anointing SF the chosen one. You'd think they've won the last five Super Bowls to hear some of the 'analysis'. So, all the pressure is on SF to follow through.

Meanwhile, do you think that Packer players are sick and tired of all the SF adoration? I imagine so, and, they can do something about it by winning.

Not saying it gives a huge edge since motivation is strong for all involved, but, I like the underdog role the Packers find themselves in."
