My only concern for this game from the usual turnovers, mental errors, key penalties which can change any game is if our guys come in too overconfident after the last game.
Hopefully we come out ready to play and avoid any slow starts or key mistakes which can quickly cover up our talent advantage.
Let's get this W!

Yeah I think only our mistakes can give Packers a chance.

Just a reminder, we had dj Jones last time who played real well if I recall correctly. Having Ford, Alexander, and Staley are going to be huge but we have lost a little bit too since last time.

This. New game. New team. New gameplan. Packers have better CBs and a similar pass rush compared to Minnesota but their LBs are markedly worse. Middle of the field should be wide open.

Me too. I have flashbacks/ptsd from my childhood of all the packers and 49er matchups. Not many good memories there other than the Owens catch.

It'd have to be, their last game plan was great.

I agree with that line. We dominated that last game but it means nothing now.
Sooo happy we got Ford back, this is his game. I think this game will be way tougher but we can win!

...and Alexander.
Few notes from first matchup between #49ers and #Packers:
— Nick Wagoner (@nwagoner) January 13, 2020
SF didn't have Dee Ford, Joe Staley, Robbie Gould or Matt Breida. GB lost RT Bryan Bulaga early in the game to a knee injury. 49ers sacked Aaron Rodgers 5 times and he finished with 104 yards/1.7 yards per pass play.

I was kind of hoping for a rematch with the seahawks... but i'll take an old school rivalry as well.
