Ive never been so confident in a big game. Thats kind of what worries me. I normally take the realist, "you never know" stance on games, but this has lined up so well for us.
Between the Seattle win to take the division/home field, us getting healthy at the perfect time, Seattle losing, and Baltimore losing, I cant help but get this feeling like it's actually happening. Same feeling I got with the Giants in the 2010 and 2012 World Series. You could almost feel that the momentum was carrying you there.
I mean, when's the last time we were this good, all the major road blocks were knocked out, and we were left looking at teams we were better than. Its crazy.

- Rams lose a Super Bowl to a dynasty-status team, whose QB wears #12 and whose initials are TB...
- Raiders relocate out of the Bay Area...
- 49ers coach and QB (in their 3rd year together) go 13-3 and are in the NFCCG...
IT'S HAPPENING!!!

I'm the most optimistic I've been, which worries me lol.
Having said that, I don't see how the packers stack up at all outside of Rodgers turning back the clock but we're built to beat the kind of QB he is. What get's overlooked because of how dominant our pass rush is, is just how good our coverage has been on the back end.
I don't think the Packers WR are good enough to separate and Rodgers is not going to have time to allow them to break free. I expect a lot of quick hitting short throws but our LB's are so good that I can't see them moving the ball.
I also don't think they can live with our offense, our line is playing great whilst their DB's and coverage unit has been bad and they're not good at stopping the run.
I genuinely think it's going to be similar to the Vikings game - not a blow out score but a game that's not that close.

I've wondered about this as well. I agree that the Packers believe they can't win this game conventionally. They're going to switch things up. Their coach said as much earlier this week when he talked about looking at what other teams have done that has been successful. They may wait until a bunch of the backup D-Line is in the game and then start going uptempo. I mean if I were them, that's what I'd do. And that's when they take shots down field. For all the talk about the D-Line this week, I think this week is actually on the secondary. They have to play lights out on Adams every play and play sound against the rest of the pass catchers, who aren't very good at all. And with the secondary healthy, I have nothing but confidence in their ability to do that.
Another thing is the D-Line is well rested after a bye week and a low snap performance against the Vikings. 49ers will ride the top guys harder this week, so it'll be harder to catch the defense with too many backups in the game. And hell, worst case scenario, call a time out or fake an injury lol.

No huddle is risky for them. If you go three and out or have a short drive then your defense will be on the field all game.

Few nations have ever progressed with such breathtaking speed from the status of skulking pariah to dominant power. The change was total and irrevocable, and it was accompanied by a complete reordering of balance of power on the American plains (NFC!)."

It is a risk but it might be the only plan they have against us that could work in spurts.
