SF 49ERS vs GB PACKERS Pregame Thread - 2019 NFC CHAMPIONSHIP

Live in Washington, going to be a quiet week!! I would honestly so much rather lose to the packers, but well all know that's not agonna happen.

Nope. Had enough of that midget

A sweeter victory for sure, but that game would give me several heart attacks
Why would the Niners be cocky? They have been disrespected all year never getting any credit. 2 more win to silence all these haters.

My only concern for this game from the usual turnovers, mental errors, key penalties which can change any game is if our guys come in too overconfident after the last game.

Hopefully we come out ready to play and avoid any slow starts or key mistakes which can quickly cover up our talent advantage.

Let's get this W!

This. New game. New team. New gameplan. Packers have better CBs and a similar pass rush compared to Minnesota but their LBs are markedly worse. Middle of the field should be wide open.

It'd have to be, their last game plan was great.

They will put everything in to stopping Coleman and Mostert. Dare Shanahan to be aggressive and throw the ball probably, and I hope he does it. Jimmy will kill them if they're stacking the box and playing 1 on 1 outside.
Feel good about this matchup. If SF prepares with focus and comes to play the game they can without self inflicted wounds they should win.

If somehow the Packers pull it off I'll be super disappointed, but I'll tip the cap and root for the AFC team in the SB, then look forward to the 2020 49ers coming back with valuable experience and hopefully an ever stronger roster.

Gonna be an exciting week either way!

Me too. I have flashbacks/ptsd from my childhood of all the packers and 49er matchups. Not many good memories there other than the Owens catch.

How did that happen? I thought you're not allowed to own property in the state if you don't own a cheese hat?

Yeah and you know they would of taken out one of our top players like they did to Bowman.
1/19 3:05 ET At Kansas City-7.5 Tennessee
1/19 6:40 ET At San Francisco -7 Green Bay

Niners favored by seven. I'll take that bet

how are we ONLY 7 point favorites, we won the last game by 29 lol

I agree with that line. We dominated that last game but it means nothing now.
Sooo happy we got Ford back, this is his game. I think this game will be way tougher but we can win!

Ford is one thing.

Staley/Kwon/Breida/etc is a whole nother thing.
Packers going to try to get the disrespected card, but that doesn't work when playing the 49ers.
Can't wait for the game. I think the Niners are gonna destroy GB again.

This. Its not just Wilson, 49ers tend to suffer major injuries against that team. Happy to not have to deal with their nonstop OL holding, cheapshots and Wilson backyard football.

This Greenbay team seems better than the ones Niners faced during the season.

Let's get it on!!!

the one that almost blew this game and almost lost to the lions

Honestly, this Packers team is overrated.

They lost to the pathetic Chargers, and, should have lost to the Lions.
