Saleh will make his adjustments, at this point of the year where we're at he shouldn't be a worry. I don't think an offense led by Reid and qb Mahomes with weapons like hill, kelce, Watkins, hardman is easy but many here are making it out to be as if we're the Texans d and they score on every possession. Once again Kyle will limit possessions by running the ball and a short complex passing gameOriginally posted by jcs:Originally posted by FredFlintstone:Originally posted by Cisco0623:If we're going to win it all we will have certainly earned it.Originally posted by SanDiego49er:Originally posted by Rathof44:Originally posted by SanDiego49er:I think we beat the Packers. But a potential Mahomes matchup in the Super Bowl worries me. Oh well one game at a time. We have to win this one first and then see if we get there. Don't look ahead.
So they're gonna completely shut down Henry like the two better defenses in the AFC did the 2 weeks prior? Good luck.
Personally I think we match up better against Henry. I think our front 7 would give him trouble. But I hope he will run over the Chiefs. Because I would rather not see Mahomes. He can be down by 24, 30, 35 and he may still come back and win. I want no part of that. Granted our defense is much better and won't give up such big leads.
You guys realize that the only way Mahomes drops those insane numbers is if you replace our d with the Texans. Kyle will not allow Mahomes to have the ball much, it'll be the same game plan the colts used to beat them at their place earlier in the year. We will be more physical than them and run down their throats, we've faced much better pass rushers than Frank Clark and Chris Jones through out the year their d is nothing special that Kyle can't expose. This isn't the same KC offense from last year just look at the numbers. Only way we don't get 6 is if we beat ourselves, we're that talented folks.
Saleh's kryptonite is the screen pass...A.Reids specialty. It won't be as easy as you are trying to make it out to be.

31-10 sounds about right.
They better get the ball out quick like Brees did. Expect that. Matt LaFleur pretty much already said that postgame. Let's be ready to take that away while maintaining our big play eliminating tendencies

I expect Rodgers to try and replicate what Brees did to us. Only chance honestly
he will have a hard time finding #36
And #55, #56 and #29 will find them

I believe it's our first trip to the NFCCG where we didn't play the Seahawks since 1997. I hate to say whom we played or what happened so I won't. Different era, though.

This. Its not just Wilson, 49ers tend to suffer major injuries against that team. Happy to not have to deal with their nonstop OL holding, cheapshots and Wilson backyard football.
Because they cheap shot and you're right the ridiculous holding refs allow. I've not seen another team hold like Hawks and get away with it. Maybe Baltimore?
Totally agree.

"Back to you, Joe.."
Hmm. I don't want Troy Buck not Collinsworth anywhere near that game but we're likely gonna get crap for sure
I agree. Buck will annoyingly over-emphasize words while staring blankly into the camera.
Aikman will be salty towards Jimmy G and continue to confess his man-crush on Rodgers.
Collinsworth (God please not Collinsworth) will continue to sound like that one Uncle that no one is quite sure if he really is an Uncle, that's had one too many bourbons...giving crappy analysis in a weird, disturbing tone of voice. Also confessing his love and devotion for Rodgers. Gimme Al Michaels and maybe Tirico..
Probably on FOX so itll be Aikman.

And hopefully if he does, it's a throwaway to the sideline. Man I missed Tartt.

we are a much better and more complete team. It doesn't guarantee that we win but we should. Mistakes and we made some against minnesota is the only way we lose.
