They got a bunch of 3rd down conversions last night against the Seahawks.

But we have Ford and Kwon this time too.

I remember watching that first game on film and thinking Rodgers was uncharacteristically hesitant on some of his dropbacks. On some occasions, there were plays there to be made, not easy ones, but there nonetheless. He had that deer in the headlights look on a few of those 3rd downs, which I found odd.

He's been like that all year in this new offense. Playing like a game manager.

Lmao, please post an example of one single time this team was over confident or acted over confident this season.....

Someone on the pre game on Saturday (maybe Rodney Harrison) said the Niners were acting "cocky"........say what???

I must have missed this completely because I've never seen any of them acting cocky. If they are talking about Sherman, maybe he has been a little more animated the past few weeks but he hasn't been arrogant or cocky IMO.

If anything, this team has been low key and reserved.

Tough to be not confident.
They tried to run against Seadderall in the 2nd half and got pretty much zero yards on the ground. Tought to beat us if you dont have a credible ground game. And that Seadderall team was missing some starters on defense.

ONE THING'S FOR SURE.. the two BEST team in the NFC made it (IMO)..

SALE needs to keep our defense HONEST with this rematch...

I'm 85% sure there will be lots of RAMS ROLL OUT PLAYS this time around... Green Bay coaching staff saw how much the Baltimore - Rams - Seattle offense gave us problem with those Roll Out Misdirection plays and I would not be surprise if Aaron will be doing this more ways than one.

HECK, if I'm coaching against Sale and our defense, I'll have those plays 75%..

LETS GO NINERSSSSSSS !!!!

I dont think the rollouts are gonna be a problem. The Vikings tried that with Cousins and the Niners D handled it well.

Rodgers has to ball out to give GB a chance imo. I don't think Aaron Jones will be able to do much on the ground against the 49ers healthy front 7.
Playing devil's advocate here but would a loss this Sunday to that team be the most disappointing loss in franchise history?

The SB loss to Baltimore still stings but it would be downright embarrassing to lose to GB this Sunday.

I expect a different game than the last meeting. It should be much closwer. Aaron is too smart to get killed twice by the same team. But I think the niners win by 2 scores. Adams accounts for most of the passing game offense, especially converting first downs. So Sherm and Mosley (not spoon) need to be all over him and make another WR beat them.

The last time Rodgers lost to a team in the regular season and again in the post season was in 2016 vs. Kyle Shanahan and the Atlanta Falcons. They lost worse the second time.

I just hope the team isn't expecting to roll outta bed and beat GB just because they did during the regular season.
Gotta stay focused.

Yep....I think they'll stay focused tho

Yeah, don't think that'll be an issue. Shanny has done a good job locking them in gameday

The vets, esp. Sherman will take whatever is needed to keep the chip on their shoulder. They have used that underdog mentality all year. Not worried.

For me. 1987 and Blubber Paris vs Chris "I'll just run around Blubber and sack montana" Dolman was the most disappointing game.

I agree. From what I can tell they are appropriately confident in their ability and Kyle's gameplay. They are also humble and focused.

After winning 4 games the previous year and now stacked with a huge nucleus of young talented players on the roster?

I'm gonna go with no.
