Let's win one super bowl before talking about dynasties

I vividly remember everyone calling the Harbaalke 49ers the next dynasty by year 2 and...... yeah

The article isn't really about dynasties, its about legacies and about building a core philosophy around which you build your team in terms of the goals you want to achieve and the character of the players that you bring in. That's why Lynch has put such a strong emphasis on finding the "right kind" of guys to bring onto the team, which is why Rueben Foster is no longer here and why Antonio Brown was never under consideration and why fourth round pick Joe Williams never got untracked but UDFA Matt Breida established himself as a solid contributor.

I posted a quote from an article about Earl Mitchell in the Robert Saleh thread and there was a video clip playing in the article where Kyle was talking about Witherspoon after he got pulled from the Minnesota game. Apparently as soon as Witherspoon understood that Moseley was going to be starting the rest of the way he went to the special teams coach and asked for Moseley's reps there so that E-man could focus on playing corner. IGYB indeed. Go Niners!!

I know people will point to the Pats but they had the perfect storm of QB, coach, weak conference and weaker division for 20 years. It's unlikely that happens again. If we win the SB we face tough competition in our own division next year and beyond so repeating is going to be tough.

I see it less of a dynasty but more of a stable, cohesive front office and coaching team. Extremely hard to find in the nfl nowadays.

The media trying to jump on the niners bandwagoner now that we're good again. The local media never fails to be snakes and liars. Everybody was bashing lynch and shanahan saying mcvay was better and lynch needs to be replaced especially the garbage local media. Stick with your opinions and don't change it just because we're good. Nick wagoner can kick rocks because he was talking trash the past two years.

Maybe that could be the new formula for building a dynasty. Have someone in charge of matching key players with wealthy actresses and singers so they can take less money. Then we use all that extra money to sign free agents. We can call it matchalytics.
LOL!

Now now. Let's not be like Seahawks fans crowning ourselves the next dynasty before winning anything.

Let's get a ring first.

But with Shanahan and Lynch in charge, there was never any doubt the franchise's past would be amplified.

Mike Shanahan's time as offensive coordinator for QB Steve Young made the Niners, and their winning ways, a natural fit for Mike's son, and current head coach, Kyle. AP Photo/Paul Sakuma.

That part came easy for Shanahan, who had served as a 49ers ball boy for the aforementioned championship team when his dad, Mike, worked as offensive coordinator. Shanahan's love for the Niners was so strong at that time that he admits to wearing a Sanders No. 21 jersey every day from Christmas, when he received it, until the day after the Niners won the Super Bowl. (Shanahan insists he changed undershirts every day.)

If you watch that SNF interview with Kyle's parents, they hated him wearing that jersey everyday. Momma said it was nasty

Seahawks goofed. Ciara is super hot, but she's not making that Beyoncé money.
