Looks like there are Packers fans on FB whining about Sherm dissing their team in the presser. The whining is that bad that some have become Chiefs fans!

Wait a minute, didn't the Pack opened their mouths throughout the entire week?

They got a deserved encore of a whoopin!

What did he say? I just saw a clip of him at the presser about the "long road" it is to get to the point they are at. He said the Packers were in the same boat as them -- all the sacrifice they put into their time, time with family, their bodies, their minds, regardless if you win or lose. It was classy imo, mentioning the Packers in the same breath.

Who was at the game? How was the atmosphere? I wanted to go but alas I couldn't shake the feeling I am a Jinx lmao

I was there section 101 (right next to the tunnel where the Packers came out).

1) the atmosphere was ELECTRIFYING! I flew out from NY with the wife and kid. At first I thought the Packer fans had bought out the lower bowel on my side of the field bc they were all over pregame. But then I realized that they were hanging there for the Packers players. Levi's was ALL RED AND GOLD. We diluted any Packer fans that thought they could bring their base to Santa Clara. Most left before the game was over.

2). It was LOUD especially on defense. I'm been to Giants stadium in NJ, and it can get loud on game days. But nothing like this. Ppl were off their rockers, and the stadium would shake at times. My only qualm would be that Levi's has such an "open-air" concept to it, I think we fail to contain some of that noise because it just leaks out. Nonetheless I couldn't understand anything my wife was saying and ai kept telling her to wait for a commercial break

3). Thank God for the jumbotrons. I was sitting in row 3 so I felt like I was right in on the action. But I would recommend sitting higher up so you get a better view of the field. It looks less jumbled

4) EVERYONE stood in my section. Not one person say it was amazing.

5). FOOD IS EXPENSIVE but hey it's the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP. I didn't give a s**t !

6) had a GREAT trip to SF this weekend. Flew out there Thursday. Took the family site seeing (Golden Gate bridge, Muir Woods, Lombard st, Full House house (hehe), Fisherman's wharf, etc. did some shopping and a Niners blowout win was the icing on the cake.

Thank you Bay Area for being a GREAT host to my family. We had a wonderful time. The people are great. The food is great. The traffic sucks balls (took me 2.5 hrs to get of SF city limits one day). And the GAME was exactly what I was praying for....a blowout.

Kudos

Opposing team Fans always show up in the stadium before all the Niner fans filter in. I could tell early on that there would be nowhere near the number of Packer fans as in the regular season game and there weren't. Very insignificant. The only time when the crowd held its collective breath was after the long completion against Sherm, but it got loud again the next play.

Crowd was loud all game long.

To the other comment about the food yeah, it is expensive, same a regular season. They are experimenting with it being included in the ticket price next season.

Loved every minute of that game!

Yup...many more packers fans were at the regular season game then yesterday. Loved seeing the sea of red!
Every team now think they can or should run the ball to beat the opponents the Niners beaten. Like the Saints lol

He said the team felt disrespected, because the Packers came into the mindset that they were going to get payback for week 12 and how the Pack didn't take that game as serious even though it was a Sunday night game and had the Packers won that game, they would've had the 1 seed and Niners would be traveling to lambeau instead.

That GB fumbled snap in the 2Q was such a huge point in the game. 17-0 and GB was driving, and it was a good looking drive. What a blunder.

I didn't even know what was going on on that play.

Just slightly. I really don't drink much but had two 25 ounce cans of Sapporo Ichiban during the game along with some homemade pizza. s**t goes down like water :)

I don't think Green Bay did either.

Ya, that was kinda the point where you saw the Packers go from "we can come back" to "keep it respectable". The look on Rodgers face was painful...

There isn't more of an 'unforced error' than a fumbled center/QB exchange. That had to be demoralizing. Things don't come easy against the 49er defense and GB ruined their best looking drive of the first half with that turnover.

I think we could still have won but no question, Lambeau in January is tough. I have no idea what the weather was like, but we might have had to emphasise the running game a little more. .

My favorite play other than watching Mostert all day, was when Rogers had the ball knocked lose. The replay showed Bosa who had been knocked to the ground by whoever was blocking him, spring up and lunge for the loose ball. He was so quick off the ground it looked like a land mine blew up under him. The guy has an amazing motor and instincts.
