We obviously need the DLine to have a huge game. Even then it's going to be very difficult to defend the track speed they have at wide receiver. They also excel against zone defense which doesn't fare well for us.

You hit Mahomes and you hit him hard, what's so complicated about this?? Zone or man wont matter they can beat both. You have to be physical and punch them in the mouth

I also feel like you need a two tier plan in case KC gets on a roll
Can't really use that game plan due to the rule changes. But our D definitely needs to show up big and hit those guys legally with every change they get.
The Colts and Pats did that this year and Tenn did that some. You can still jam and look to disrupt the timing at the LOS.

Can't disagree but they are still going to call penalties on QB hits. You can get away with more in the secondary though.

Heres my thing , if you can hit him then you hit him. I've come to terms that they are going to be a few plays sacrificed but I believe you have too keep hitting him, no matter what. I agree with what you're saying though. He is not use to getting hit. I think you bang him up and injure him
If you can tweak an ankle or bang up a shoulder. Not maliciously but you hit him hard when you can. Alot of people may not agree with this strategy though

I'm thinking that would be a Roughing the Passer penalty. 15 yard penalty unfortunately.

break up or intercept the pass when they throw it and tackle them when they run it

CHIEFS will score... and they will keep on comin... that's Andy Reid's nature especially knowing what kind of a weapon his QB is...
bottom line is, we are BATTLE TESTED !!! our team can go with what ever the tempo is and we've proven that...
we BEAT the Saints in New Orleans on a high scoring game..
IF our defense can't hold the Chiefs down, then Jimmy and the OFFENSE will OUTSCORE them !!!

I just want to win the game. In case our offense beats their defense, and their offense beats our defense, I want our special teams to get additional yards and maybe even points for us. If we can win the turnover contest, we probably win the game.

Haven't you guys been paying attention to the mainstream media? We can't stop them, we might as well not even show up for the game.

I think we need to mix run and pass a lot early to get a 10+ point lead.
Then let our D eat and run the ball after to eat clock and extend the lead.
That's what we did in the 80s and 90s...pass to get a lead and then run the ball to finish off the game.
With how we have been running the past two weeks I think Shanny comes out passing on the first drive like against the Vikings.
Their D cannot stop our O amd I think many people are forgetting that. We have the #1 pass D in the last decade...we can slow down their O and that's all we need to get this win and #6
