Gone far too soon. A very high character guy in addition to a HOF player. He would certainly fit the image of the guys Lynch and Shanahan want here now.

The particular kind of cancer he had, glioblastoma (brain cancer), is a very ugly one. I have watched two friends die from that. It gradually takes away every level of dignity and health until it shuts off the lights. Pray for a cure.

Dude was one of the top sack artists of all time. Though I still remember him mostly as a Viking, he did some great things for the Niners as well. He will be missed...another guy dying so young...
