We had our chances, the refs weren't totally awful to us. Our secondary and Oline needs a lot of work this off season. Period

Our secondary and Oline needed attention last off........

Brady was never the NFL's golden boy. He has been on the wrong of so many bad calls during his career. Most notably in the 2005 game against Denver, the 2006 game against Indy, and the first super bowl against the Giants

Lol What?

LOL. What is right.

Dude. They literally changed the NFL rule book to accommodate Brady. When he injured his knee they changed the NFL rule book. You could no longer hit QB's low. How many QB's around the league do you see them changing the NFL rule book for? Because they did that for Brady. To say he is not the golden boy of the NFL is utterly rediculous.......

Remember Carson Palmer getting hurt the same way vs Steelers in that playoff game years prior but no rule change happened for him. Why? Because he wasn't the NFL darling like Brady.

Exactly. They didn't care at all when it happened to Carson Palmer. When it happened to Brady they literally changed the rules. I mean that's incredible. When the NFL changes the rules for you they are bending over backwards for you. Nobody gets treatment like that. Just unreal.
2012 we got a little jobbed not getting a PI call on the last pass play to Crabtree.

This time... sure there were some bad calls. But mainly, we couldn't stop them when it counted and we couldn't drive down the field when we needed to.

DB, OL and WR were out biggest offseason needs before this game and now we really know they are our top priority.

And now Screech (Mahomes) will get that treatment. As a matter of fact, it has started and maybe that's why he complains to the refs all the time. Used to getting his way. I can't stand that whiney behavior.
This sport is riged and anyone who continues to support it will just be getting their hopes up. 49ers won't get any gimmies as long as Goodell is running the show.
Twice they have been f**ked on the biggest stage. What's the point. Next year, Next year. Yeah f**kin' Right it's been 25 years & if didn't happen tonight good luck having it happen next year or any time period.

He is so whiny. Somebody touched his face mask with a glancing blow of a pinkie. And he was whining for a penalty on that play. When he slid......

I'd say the OPI was legit, but they also didn't call a single offensive hold on KC, and there was a bad one on that 3rd down bomb that lead to the first 4th quarter TD.

When it got to the point of KC olinemen holding and tackling the SF dline I knew who the league wanted to win. SF players were looking at refs like "really?". it was ugly.
Also of note was where the refs spotted the ball giving KC a couple of first downs when they were obviously short of the marker.

Yeah, I was dumb. I went to the Vikings divisional playoff game this year because I bought into this crap. But I knew it was too good to be true deep down. We don't have a "face of the NFL" type of QB that the media slobbers all over. Whats the point?

Chiefs are the next New England dynasty.
Say what you want but that missed offsides penalty up 10 with 7 minutes to play was huge. That was the NFL saying we aren't calling that and giving you another chance to run 3 more minutes off the clock. Another 49er first down and the Chiefs are toast and they knew it. I've just decided that I'm not going to support a league that likes to dictate games/calls for close finishes. I don't have the time, money or energy to support a league that dictates a flag by the score or time left on the clock.

I actually agreed with that no-call, it was like the Seahawks one week 17. When the receiver and defender make contact at the same time, you have to give a little leeway there.

Maybe that was an EI call, like the ridiculous personal foul call that set up the thrilling finish in Week 17

It wasn't the refs, folks...

Yuck, that's graffic

We didn't have any holding penalties either

They were getting pressure faster on us, For the most part, we didn't really have time to hold. Mahomes could've baked a cake back there a few times, especially on all those 3rd downs he was completing...I think even Aikman or Buck mentioned the holds a couple of times

Went to the NFC Championship game spent $700 for a ticket plus weekend expenses and for what so we can get toyed around and fooled to believing we had a legit shot after the media glamored and drooled over Mahomes? The writing was on the wall but we all like suckers fell for it once again
