Look at the title of this thread. It says Yorks ownership VS DeBartolo ownership results. Eddie was the DeBartolo ownership. That's about as clear as you can get.

Well , one owner won 5 SBs in a row which has never been done .
The other family had a horrendous first 10+ years as owners . But it has gotten better and I give credit to Jed for learning from his many mistakes .
Wouldn't be surprised if York's were to lose 5 consecutive SBs .

Eddie D was a hot head who tried to punt Walsh out the door a bunch of times, like Jed did to Harbaugh. Were just lucky McVay talked him out of it. I have a hard time giving Eddie too much credit for those titles because of this.

The difference is Eddie surrounded himself with people who would talk him out of it . That's what you are supposed to do.
It took Jed forever to figure out Baalke was worthless

The cap situation was different.

That was just one of the differences. The cap was put in as a response to Eddie's lavish spending. They didn't have free agency for most of that era so teams could retain their players.

Jed york needs to pull a lebron and fix his career with the 49ers because we as fans are hurting
Lebron lost his first two finals before he became a legend. I believe york can turn it around with his checkbook.

Jed York can only continue to keep the bank account open (which he has never restricted) and let Shanalynch do their best. A W/L in the SB itself has ultimately nothing to do with York.

Ownership is important and can help get you a high seed in the playoffs. What you do in the superbowl is on the coach and players. So if a pass is completed to Crabtree and to Sanders, does this whole narrative change on its face, and change to what? This is just the silliest thing ever.

Maybe the York's are one of the better owners in sports. If you look at owners of sports franchises, there are a lot of douche bags out there. Whether it's incompetence or ego, too many owners want to be the face of the franchise when it should be the coach and the team. At least the York's stay out of the way.

When 9/11 happened, the "Patriots" dynasty started to take affect. Probably to reinvigorate America's nationalism in the face of terrorists.
When Hurricane Katrina happened, the New Orleans Saints somehow win a Superbowl ring. Are these all coincidences?
What a f*** are you talking about. What does losing a game have anything to do with Reagan or 9/11.

I have no idea what that's all about. Eddie D benefitted from Ronald Reagan? How? Win one for the Gipper?

At least he figured it out.
The reality is in the 2010s, they appeared in the playoffs 4 times and have a record of 80-79-1 with 2 Super Bowl appearances. They are likely middle of the pack as owners and have a very middle of the pack like record.
