Sound familiar?

Unfortunately you're right.

Cool, now how do you accomplish that?

There's nobody in free agency and we don't have the draft capital to move up to get a top prospect.

Kick the tires for OBJ?
All that aside, it's really gonna cime down to whether Jimmy gets better than a game mgr or not.

Geeeesh....good grief

There is no plan. If being top 5 in basically every category and having a two score lead in the 4th quarter is not enough, then what is? There's no shiny FA out there, and we're probably going to lose some pieces as well. It's never going to be easier than this, and they blew it, and that's the hard to swallow truth.

Looking forward to the draft. We need to improve the interior o-line, look for DB help (especially if we lose Ward) and WR.

Trading down should be our priority in the draft to get a few more picks out the the empty well that we have.

I think we should bring Sanders back.

I think we could get by with the following at WR

Sanders
Hurd
Deebo
Bourne
Taylor (depending on if he's healthy)
James or Pettis (if Dante can get his head out of his ass)

Move on from Goodwin. There's really not much in free agency, with Amari Cooper being the only real option.

Sherman should honestly look into moving to safety. It'll help to negate the speed factor that he lacks (and he never was real fast to begin with).

I'd let Ward walk, and focus on Kittle and Buckner's extension and find a way to get Armstead back.

Here's a look at our free agents going into the offseason.

Why does everyone think that will be such an easy conversion for him? and in our system we play a lot of single high safety which is anything but easy.

I think we need help in the passing game for sure.

It'll be tough to bolster our line with the draft picks we currently have, and Jimmy could help the situation by improving his mobility...call roll out plays...less batted passes...

Maybe throw in some back shoulder passes.

A receiver who can win a jump ball will be awesome.
Stay the course.

With what, we don't have the draft capital to do anything and no, giving up our first for him is not an option.
Drink heavily
We had that game won.

We need a better game plan when we get down to it. It's no secret why we were in drag down fights and we haven't truly lost a game by more than one score... We can blame Kyle (again), blame Jimmy, etc but we had the best defense left in the playoffs up by 10, there was no reason that
a) we couldn't put up a single score in the 4th and
b) we couldn't stop Mahomes from his silver platter hero boy media win

The roster may go through some minor changes but the talent is still there. Execute next time.

The Animal House words of wisdom.
I would draft a QB every year (maybe not this year since we have so few picks) . Not necessarily a high pick but try and find a guy with a big arm that can be groomed. I don't think Jimmy will ever have the elite arm and he is really slow when he has to scramble. And he's 28. They need to start looking a year or 2 ahead in case Jimmy doesn't improve or he gets hurt. Mullens isn't a starter and Beathard doesn't look like he has the intangibles even though he has the best arm and speed of the three guys we have.
